Very well, never had to wait long for repairs or for putting new outboard motor on

I've had excellent service, sales, and customer support from Slip's Capeway Marine. I bought a new boat with a trailer and the sales and service staff did everything to make this experience a good one. Two instances I recall when they went beyond what I expected. Once was when I needed a part for an engine I was having repaired. The service staff went out to the showroom and got me the part and just handed it to me – no charge. The second was after a year with the boat trailer I need to have a tail light repaired. They fixed the light and didn't charge me for it. On yet another occasion, I had an old 1954 outboard I brought in to get it running. The service tech spent many hours working on the engine so I could have it back for the July 4th weekend. He got it running and took the time to show me what he did and provided pointers on how to get the most out of this antique. He himself collects these engines and appreciates their value to the customer. I appreciate everything business has done to make my boat ownership pleasant.

Ian the mechanic, was the one responsible for assessing its condition, making repairs, replacements and determining if was worthy for our boat. We were very surprised to discover that he was able to correct the noises, eliminate most of the rust, and replace a number of parts such that our trailer is now usable again. We are so very impressed that Slips would make such an effort unlike other boat dealers who would simply have us purchase a new one.

This is not unusual for the staff at Slips. We have used them for decades and know of their integrity, expertise and honesty. They do their best to keep costs down and find alternative approaches to many repair jobs. We wish to recommend them for anything boat, both sales, services, parts and selling your boat when its time is right.
