It's a small mom and pop shop. He's very good, very reasonable and very honest. I had been going to Midas and they couldn't seem to find what was wrong and somebody recommended him. It turned out I had a hole in my gas tank and my oil pan. He replaced that and did quite a bit of work. When I brought it for a second question a week ago, he had it for a few days and he said, "You know what, just drive it. The car is super old. I don't want you to put any more money into it." I found him really honest. He said what I should do and he said just buy a new car. He said, "I could charge you $900 to put in a new catalytic converter but put the money into a new car." And I thought that was very honest. He's one of the few, honest repairman that are out there. He's not like the chains that you would go to that probably have to meet a quota each month. I think he is somebody that really takes pride on what he does. His shop is really clean. He's good about getting back to you. He's very patient.

Very good experience

When, in a snowstorm, my vehicle would not start, I had it towed to Matt Hebert's long after hours. He took my call at 9:00 p.m. , told me where to have the driver place it and arranged for his neighbor to take the keys. He had it running the next day and the rest of the repairs completed in two days. He charged me very little for the time he spent and was an absolute delight to do business with. Matt operates a low-overhead, out-of-the-way general automotive repair shop. His low prices reflect this. His encyclopedic knowledge of general automotive technology, efficiency, fair labor rate, stellar business practices and friendly, accommodating disposition make him a standout service provider. This is the fourth time in the past year that he has repaired one of my cars. My experience with him has been excellent each time.
