This is by far the best contractor I have ever hired. I had many bad experiences throughout the years and this time I have never been more pleased with a company. The work was top quality and the crew was extremely polite, professional, and respectful of my home. They did fantastic work and cleaned up well. They showed up on time and on schedule. I am hiring them agaim to fix flashing on my deck and to replace an atrium door. They are really good at pointing out things that need to be fixed so that you can alleviate more expensive problems down the road. They even sent a nice thank you gift! Top quality firm!

Got a couple of estimates on the windows and patio door. The price was pretty good for the project. They suggested Harvey windows and we were able to agree on Harvey slimline windows which reduced the cost a little. I chose new construction because the sills and outside trim were all rotted. They also installed a French patio door which required some extra work enlarging the opening, but they did it within the quoted price. The quality was outstanding and the finish work was what I was hoping for. It took about 3. 1/2 days to finish and the entire crew was professional. Recommended to anyone looking for work.

I have been meaning to rate Band D on this project for over a year and just kept putting it off, you know how that goes. Anyway all went well. The guys did discover the wooden chimney was partially rotted and needed to be rebuilt. Of course I was disapointed to find the wooden chimney rotted and the added expense to repair it. In the end they did an outstanding job and we get comments on the quality of their work often. I must give credit to Marty and his crew. Marty asked me every day if I had any questions about the project. We love the look of the new siding and the chimney is, well, .....WOW! Thanks to Marty and crew. Thanks to Dan for and quot;throwing inand quot; the super corners too.

My husband and I were not really pleased with them. We spent more than a $100,000 on their services. As far as we were concerned, there was only one man that really met our criteria and that was the person who initially put the frame up. He was a framer. They had to do the roofing over because it was horrible. It was certainly unacceptable. They were really upset with us because we weren't happy with it. My husband and I had proved by looking at the roofing of all kinds of houses, and definitely we saw that I was in the right. My husband doesn't want to complain but I pick up on things if there is a lot of money involved. We thought their price was alright.

I found this company on Angies list, Thank you Angie list, I called the company and asked if they gave free estimates, they did, and they came to my home, took measurements, looked at everything on and around the house and within 5 days I received an estimate in the mail. I called them back because I knew I got a very fair estimate for all the work to be done. I also picked this company because they were rated 5 stars with certifications on applying CertainTeed roofing and siding. Not many companies out there have there certifications, beware, this company knows what they are doing when working with CertainTeed products. thiscertification has to be met by CertainTeed trained professional standards. This vinyl siding is not like the old days, this is a great product. I went to Band D 's show room to look at what I would be purchasing, Well let me tell you, from the moment I walked into there business I was warmly meet by everyone, I brought along my brother and sister-in-law and they too were very impressed with our greeting. My family was introduce to everyone one who worked for this company, I was made to feel very important as a customer to all, it was a great experience for me. I was taken into the show room and I was able to see all I was purchasing, every product I picked was explained on its durablity, warrenties, they helped me pick out colors on the house, I got to see and test the windows I picked, I saw the construction and felt the sturdiness of my decking and railing systems for my new front porch and back porch. I saw my gutters with the gutter guards, It was a wonderful experience to see what I would be paying for. I had hands on on every material used. My contract was throughly explained and wriiten up for me, I went over everthing with the project manager before the job was started, there were no hidden costs. There was a forman on every job with there crew from start to finish, then the job manager woud come by frequently to check on the crew and progress of every job, asking me if I had any questions, if I was satisfied with the work, he was great. All the crew from the roofers, window installers to the siders were professional, courteous and friendly. They were always on time, very neat, cleaned up after themselves, I can not say enough great things about all the great, very hard working men I meet working om my home. This company really cared about me, they knew I had been ripped off by another contractor for thousands of dollars of poor, shady work, this company made it right, I can not say enough wonderful things about this company. Now I know my home is safe and very comfortable to live in. And they assured me if I have any problems with anything I can call them and they will be there for me. I got several quotes and B and D were in the middle. I chose them because they were nice and answered all my questions plus they were local. They arrived on time and started right away. They cleaned up everything after leaving. I am happy with they work they did and would hire them again.

If you are considering siding do it just once rather than twice. I made the terrible mistake of going with spray on vinyl wasting thousands of dollars. The vinyly trapped water behind it keeping the cedar shingles wet. After six years they rotted. The chimney was rotted so much that we could pull it apart by hand. In the end it is more economical to pay a little more once than having to do it twice. I sure I could have had the job done for a little less but I did that last time and Band D, I think, are honest and fair.

Work was completed as expected with no problems.

The windnow crew arrived as promised and completed the job in a couple of days. They introduced themselves to us upon arrival. The windows are excellent quality, actually better than we expected. The finish carpentry skills of Chris and Rick are excellent. They took the time to do little extra details that we did not know to ask for. Nice wide window sills instead of what we commonly see. The fitting of the interior window trim is excellent.
This is the third time we have purchased replacement windows although the first time for this house. Band D did the best job by far of the three. Excellent quality windows and outstanding attention to detail. When was the last time you saw the finish carpenter using wood glue (along with finish nails) and a level on interior window trim? All the crew were very personable and spoke to us a lot during the job. Great work guys, thank you!

and middot; The weather was not cooperating and everything was behind schedule. The job prior to mine had taken more time than anticipated. At first, I felt like I had been forgotten. and middot; Once all the kinks were worked out, the entire process of siding, wrapping trim/windows on the house and the shed in the back yard went smoothly and quickly. I am thrilled with the results and middot; Most importantly, my husband, and ldquo;the meticulous oneand rdquo; is thrilled with the result and the workmanship. Who can say more than that?

Do get several proposals

Don't let a contractor tell you what you want. The highest quote I received was from a contractor in Fairhaven who told me what he would do and how he would do it. They were the only one that did not want to strip off the original roof, yet they were priced thousands more that the others.
