Antonios Remodeling

This is the second time I am using Mark Antonio's remodeling. He is good at what he does and very professional.

The work went very well. Mark was fast and very professional in every aspect of the project, he and his crew came on time and cleaned up the work site right after the work was completed. The wall openings turned out just as we discussed and the finished outcome is great.
I am very happy with Mark's work and his professionalism. I will be using him and his crew on other home project.

Mark did a job for my house where he and his crew put a french drain in my backyard. One stormy night our basement got water and ruined one of our rooms. We have a finished basement so we had to redo the room. We hired Mark to make sure that so much rain wouldn't cause the same thing to happen again. We are very pleased with the results. Mark called me throughout the project and let me know what was going on, that was new to me, usually people don't call and give a status on how the job is progressing. That was a bonus in my mind. Since the french drain was put in we have had no issues whatsoever. He was friendly and kept the work area clean.

Extensive home repairs. Previously used on small jobs with fantastic results. Large project was not at all good though. Many details discussed were done contrary to agreed-upon/discussed approach and Mark seemed to forget these conversations took place. Lots of sub-par decisions/workmanship. He tried to get paid multiple times for same thing from insurance company. Damage to carpets from Mark not adequately covering them with drop-cloths. Lack of formal (detailed) contract/work scope paperwork and his poor memory seemed to be recipe for disaster. Some subcontractors he hired were very good, others very poor. I am being generous with my scores, as we have had problems with the workmanship he did less than a year later and he said he doesn't warranty his work. Again, was great for small tasks, but not at all so (overwhelmed) by larger projects.

AWESOME job! He came down the same day to check it out. Started that same day and finished the rest in the morning. Not only did he replace the boards in the front of the house, but also the rear porch of the house. He even cleaned out the gutters and cut down a tree! You hear about many seniors (and women) being charged way too much for jobs like this. He is totally honest and is prompt and before and after he did the work, he called me to verify and confirm what he would do and what he had done on my parents' home. A great guy and we plan on using him for future jobs.

Called him to get an estimate and Mark came right down. Got an estimate within a day, got together with him to custom order the countertops and backsplashes, which came in within a week. He came down to loosen the old countertops, the new one was ready that day and delivered that day, and Mark got it all done that day! He only had to come back the next day to do some finish work around the window. Excellent, excellent job, and the countertops look awesome!

I had a deck that connected to my house that I wanted to change. Mark took the time to understand the changes my wife and I wanted and that made us feel confident that the work was going to come out the way we envisioned it.

The deck came out great. Actually it was better than we expected.

I am semi-retired and a confirmed do-it-yourselfer. I hardly ever pay anyone to do what I think I can do as well or better. I had finished framing a new workshop attatched to my existing garage and all I had to do to make it weather tight was the roof. This is where my problems began. My wife was dead set against me doing this myself. Ifinally gave in and hired Mark to do the work. It was the smartest move I ever made because he finished it in one day. It would have taken me three. I hate to admit it but it was twice as good as I could have done. I would recommend him for any job big or small..I am even considering using him to complete some projects that I have been procrastinating about for ages. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the day after he did the work it rained and snowed and I was inside warm and dry. Thanks, Mark.

He showed up early Monday morning, as promised, and the deck was completed Wednesday afternoon. We are very pleased with the outcome.
