"JR" was the foreman of a wonderful crew that was highly professional in every respect.  The prep work for both jobs was meticulous and careful, and included minor carpentry as needed and/or requested:  as to the exterior, scraping all areas and repairing gashes and gaps, as well as repairing old casement window trim that had deteriorated from water damage.  They relocated a downspout at my request.  For the interior, the prep included sanding the walls as needed, priming new drywall areas, priming older walls that had residual wallpaper paste, careful joint compounding and spackle as needed.  Careful laying of tarps throughout and attention to furniture relocation.

The painting was relatively fast and efficient,  a cheerful bunch -- no hangups or late arrivals. I had a difficult area to paint over steep stairs - no problem. Zero paint spillage, and the final job (2 coats of BM Aura) came out perfect, and the ceilings as well, with no overlaps, no density differences, and zero smudging on adjacent trim or floor. Every paint line was razor sharp and clean.

JR was a pleasure to work with; he carefully estimated the job and continually monitored progress.  For both jobs, he did a final walk through for his own satisfaction, doing final touches and requesting touch-ups before I even did my own inspection.
