The masonry work was done early in the year and it was still extremely cold at night. This was unexpected and didnt allow the cement to cure properly, breaking it apart. Once the weather warmed to a more seasonal temperature, Mike came back and did the job over again without costing me a nickel. All his other work so far has been great and he is a pleasure to be around.

We were buying a home needing work under excrow.  Of five contractors asked to bid, he was the only one willing to do such a small job.  We took his bid and put it through the bank requirements and he helped considerably by expediting paperwork.  He came in his spare time and did a great job on the project.  He also, has been very understanding while we've tried to pry escrow money out of Bank of America's hands.  This guy is gold!

He came over promptly, climbed and inspected my roof and gave me an estimate which I thought was fair. The actual job took much less time than he said it would and, after the first day he told me there was additional work to be done that wasn't in his original estimate. We arrived at a number and he said he would complete the work. Since I have not been up on the roof, I don't know what was actually done but the original leak was fixed. If you hire him, be sure you don't pay him with a check from Fidelity. I had to take it back and give him cash because he didn't want to wait for it to clear. A couple of months later I noticed a small leak in the attic and emailed him about it and told him I'd keep an eye on it. I never received a response.

We went with True Construction because we had a very positive experience when we used this company to fix our roof and gutters. Once again we were very pleased with the result. He was prompt and we received a written estimate within an hour. I thought we would have to get a different contractor for the chimney work but Mr. True gave us a price for everything. The work took one and a half weeks and we got more than we bargained for. The basement walls were a real mess, the house has a field-stone foundation and it was really coming apart. water was coming in the basement through cracks between the stones. he told us he would be using a product called hydraulic cement on the places where it was actively leaking. I went down the basement a couple of times after he had closed up for the day and was impressed with the work he was doing, he was really doing a meticulous job. After he was done fixing the joints in the basement he painted the basement walls with a waterproof paint. It really looks great. He also happened to have a nice stainless steel chimney cap and he installed it free of charge. We used True Construction because our previous experience had been great, one again he left us happy and we would use him again.

I was a little concerned when the contractor called 20 minutes before the appointment to say that he would be a half hour late. However the overall experience more than made up for his initial tardyness. Mr. True presented himself very professionally and to my suprise he handed us a written price within one hour. Because our problem was weather sensitive he fit us in and was up on the roof two days later. He was originally scheduled the next week, but happily moved us up before some bad weather did further damage. When I got home from work, Mr. True was cleaning up, he had completed the two roof patches and the shingles matched perfectly. When I got home the second day the gutters looked great, and to my suprise he had installed a fallen downspout he had found in the back of the house. When we recieved the bill in the mail the downspout installation was listed as "no charge". I was very pleased with the work preformed and we have had no problems with the roof or the gutters.
