I opened the account with TD Ameritrade because their $9.99 flat rate seemed good. Everything went as offered as long as they were fishing for me to transfer additional accounts (401k, etc...) to them. Once that ran out they began tacking on hidden sales charges and fees. They even manufactured a statement fee out of thin air. Their nickel and diming of this customer has chased me away permanently.
