Sal's Hardwood Flooring

It went great. One involved quite a bit of repair and one did not, and he did a great job on both. I have another project scheduled next week.

As the result of a significant leak in the condo unit above mine, my unit sustained a large amount of water damage on ceiling, walls and floors. The insurance company wanted to replace a section of the hardwood floor (a laminated/veneer product) but the manufacturer had discontinued the material so all of the hardwood floors had to be replaced. I learned that Sal's Hardwood Flooring had installed the floors in the condo when the building was built (i was the original owner of my unit). The work needed to be completed quickly because the condo was under agreement to be sold. A replacement flooring product was selected and the floors were installed. The quality of the product that replace the original floor was not as nice as the original and the workmanship was adequate, not excellent. There were several things that needed to be fixed after the floors were installed and it took some effort to get this done. Had the circumstances been different and I wasn't preparing to sell and move to another house, I would not have been satisfied with the work and would have had to get them to replace or fix some of the flooring. but it served my needs at the time.

I have used Sal for many years and have had many floors finished and many floors installed. I own many apartments and his work has been excellent, reliable and reasonable. No matter what the challenges Sal has been able to turn out a good product.

They do a great job overall for us. This is a company I will continue to use and would recommend them to anyone.
