From the initial consultation to the surgery and post-op visit, it was an excellent experience. Dr. Nielsen is professional, thorough, compassionate and willing to answer any and all questions about the process. My son had been wearing glasses since he was a young child and his prescriptions got stronger every year. We waited until he was old enough for the surgery and were referred to Dr. Nielsen. The surgery was easy, quick and completely successful. I would recommend Dr. Nielsen and Nielsen Eye Center to anyone looking to have LASIK surgery. They are excellent!

Thank you Dr. Nielsen and your team for this life-changing experience! Ever since I was 11 years old, I have known nothing besides contacts and glasses. Now at 25 years old, one of the most amazing experiences is being able to wake up in the middle of the night and being able to see. People take this for granted, but it truly is a blessing. After having the surgery and seeing the results within hours, I wish I didn't wait this long to have lasik. Thank you again!!

Yesterday I underwent Lasik Eye Surgery, and the results are remarkable. Within 24 hours, my vision is essentially 20/20. The procedure itself was painless and over within 15 minutes. I have worn glasses since 2nd grade and contacts since 5th grade. Now, at 21, being able to see crystal clear is indescribable. I am so incredibly thankful to have had this life-changing surgery and I am so grateful to Dr. Nielsen and his staff for this wonderful experience!

I could not be any happier. I woke up this morning and can SEE - no contacts and no glasses!! I never thought it was possible. The staff has been amazing throughout the entire process. The procedure took about 30mins and I woke up this morning able to read the clock! I am so thankful I took my friends advice!! The experience was great from beginning to end. Office staff is great, no wait to be seen, and AMAZING results from Dr. Nielsen.

I had Lasik Surgery done 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the results! It is a quick and easy procedure that I had wished I would have done years ago however I was scared of the procedure itself. For everyone who is nervous like I was there is nothing to worry about! You do not feel a thing and the procedure is done in less than 10 minutes! I took a nap after the procedure and when I woke up I could already see! It's the best feeling being able to see without the use of contacts or glasses. Thank you to Dr. Nielsen and staff at the Nielsen Eye Center!

My experience with them was very good.  The equipment was top notch and they were not afraid to use it.  They gave me a sense that they knew what they were doing because of all that.  The cataract surgery went quick and there was no pain.  I can see better now and it’s just as good as if I’ve had Lasik.  They did a good job.  There are a lot of staff members there and so it varies.  Their communication could have been a little better.

Overall, I had a great experience with Nielsen Eye Center.  It was easy to find an available appointment at a time that was convenient for me.  When I arrived at the office, the staff was friendly and I did not have to wait long to be called in.  Once I was called in, a technician conducted an eye exam and I was brought to a room where I was given the product that dilates your pupils.  After waiting a few minutes for that to work, the doctor came in, had me read from the eye chart, etc.  I had not previously had glasses and the doctor provided me with a prescription that has been very helpful for me, especially for driving at night.

He has a huge lasik surgery, and we think it is a good one.  We liked him.  He is a good provider, and we would definitely recommend him.  We looked at a lot of reviews before we chose them, and his practice has a lot of specialists for eye care.  We would continue to use him in the future.
