LOCAL AREA CLEANING LADY

I gave them two phone numbers and asked if I needed to confirm a day or two before.  They said no, there would be there.  At 1:45, they had not shown up and we needed to call to ask where they were.  They did not show up until 2:30PM.  The house was clean on the surface, but when you look closely there is dust on door frames and on certain surfaces and there was no "clean house" smell.  For $185 it was definitely not worth it and given their horrible punctuality, I will not use them ever again.

Betsy was prompt in returning emails and arriving for an estimate. I explained our need for a spring cleaning and we walked through the home citing various specific examples of what was expected. She seemed to understand what we were looking for. Upon inspecting the work after they left, we found several areas that we were disappointed in; not only in the quality and thoroughness of the cleaning, but also the care taken when moving around items in the home. For example, one small area rug was not even moved; lifting it up we found sand underneath yet they mopped around it. Another example, was a piece of home entertainment equipment which was pull off the shelf (assuming to dust underneath) so far that the connections in the back became unplugged. There were other issues in addition to these. I did not call them back because I don't feel that I should have to explain to professional cleaning company how to do a spring cleaning. We'll just know not to use them in the future. Note that this is my opinion related to how much we paid and our expectations. If you are looking for someone weekly to run a dust cloth over the furniture and sweep the floors, they may be fine with that assignment.

They are very expensive, changed the appointment time several hours before the scheduled time, and exhibited a very "strong attitude" (not friendly). Calling the references, we also ralized that the high cost was experienced by others, and so was the so-so quality of their work.

Very competitive prices, especially when compared to the big national cleaning chains. Betsy and her team do a nice job.

Betsy and her team are very efficient and flexible with their scheduling. Her prices are extremely competitive in comparison to her competitors. The team sometimes tends to rush through the cleaning, but they're surprisingly thorough in light of the prices they charge.

Betsy and her team do a great job. We love to come home on the days when she cleans. She has been cleaning our house for about a year and we have had no problems. Betsy always calls if there is a schedule problem and is quite accommodating. We would gladly recommend her to anyone.
