I can't say enough about Granite Lock (Quincy). When I called this morning, I had them confirm that their business was actually IN Quincy. Before we made the appointment, I was given their rates and they seem fair. I got an appointment for this morning. I had a problem that when I shut the door behind me, it didn't always engage so although the door looked closed, it was not closed nor was it locked. I am a senior citizen and did not feel safe until it got fixed. Zach showed up. He is one of the very best technical people that I have ever had at my house. He explained everything to me as he went along. Do I know enough now that I could fix it if it happened again? Probably not. He really knows what he's doing. Told me to go to a dealer to program a key and cut it which is 400 plus there's people that specialize in programing keys which is all new keys and this is not the store for that. The keys they do program they charge dealership prices or more .been going here for a decade and won't be anymore . I'd also like to add that getting a key and copying key is cheaper at Walmart home Depot and Lowes

Chris from Granite Lock came out and took a look at four locks in old, exterior doors that we wanted to keep in our home. On one door, the structure of the lock was so good that he recommended only changing out the cylinder so that the key would match another of the newer locks. The newer deadbolts, replacing old mortice locks, are so easy to operate. Everything was done with respect for these old, yet very sturdy doors. Everything was done efficiently and neatly. Since I first had the service done, I've found out that other friends and family members on the South Shore use Granite Lock Company because of the extraordinary, high quality service they bring.

Zack came out to rekey 4 entryway doors at our new home as well as open a locked door in our basement and I could not be happier with the result! He was punctual, professional, thorough in answering the questions I had, and he completed the work in almost no time at all. On top of that, he is genuinely a nice guy who was a pleasure to work with. The price was also extremely reasonable and was below what I was expecting. A+ service from Zack and Granite Lock!

Granite was a very easy company to deal with they ordered the glass doorknobs and installed them as soon as they came in the whole process took a couple of days and I am delighted with the way they look and the expert installation. Will definitely use Granite Lock again and highly recommend them.

I called on a Friday and was told they could do the work next week; it wasn't an emergency. A locksmith came Tuesday afternoon. He worked for over an hour, finally deciding that part of the problem was that the door frame was out of alignment. He said he'd return first thing next day, with another tool, to finish. I called the office at 11:30 the next a.m. and was told they were very busy and that he'd try to get to us later in the day. At 5:15, the office called to say he'd be there the next a.m. He did arrive on time, apologized about the previous day, and finished the job. He worked very hard to fix the problem but I would have appreciated a call from the office when he wasn't able to return on the expected day and time.

It went well. The locksmith was on time and very professional. He completed the lock replacement within 30 minutes and cleaned up all the wood dust after drilling, then helped re-key my back door lock. I also like that this company also takes credit card. Highly recommended and will use again.

Arrived promptly on time - called ahead to let know was coming. Polite, professional, helpful. Expertly installed dead bolt very quickly and made key copies right on the spot. Have found our go-to-guy for locksmiths from now on. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

It went great. We were in a real bind & got no help from the Suzuki dealers who I thought should have been able to help us. Granite was able to pick the lock to have better access to it & within about 15 minutes we had 3 keys & the key code in case we ever need it again. I cannot say enough about how helpful, knowledgeable, & professional they were. Thank you Granite!

They were good. They just came in and and did their job. No major problems.

They did a beautiful job. They have maintained and done some troubleshooting with the older locks in my home. They are very agreeable.

He was punctual and offered suggestions as to options for the new door handle/lock. I thought the price was a little high, but probably what the going rate is. He was courteous and went right to work. All the work was done in about 40 minutes.

Terrific! They were very responsive; and did the work the very next day. I received an accurate estimate. The locksmith suggested a better plan for re-keying two apartments that have a shared entry than I had thought of. He also suggested a couple of different options for the ancient locks on one of the interior doors. I appreciated his thoughtfulness; since I like to think that he would know better than I the best lock solutions. For all the work done, I thought the price was very reasonable! The fellow who did the work was very tidy, thorough, polite and pleasant. I would highly recommend this firm!
