He forged my name on the building permit, filled out the permit in another contractor's name, would agree to something and then two days later say he never said that, started the job without the building permit, and then partway through the job decided that no electrical was included in the price. When we parted ways he refused to give me back my house key. All I got done for my $20,000 was the demolition. He kept the money and ran - then made up an inflated bill stating that I owed him almost $9000.00 more for the demolition part. Stay far, far away from this one.
Description of Work: Was supposed to be a total remodel of the first floor of the house, including hardwood floors, new kitchen, painting, taking a wall down to open up the space.

HIS WORKMANSHIP WAS HORRIBLE. HE FAILED TO BUILD ONE STRAIGHT WALL AND FAILED TO LEVEL THE BASE CABINETS PROPERLY TO SUPPORT THE GRANITE INSTALLATION. HE LED US TO BELIEVE HE WAS A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN, WHICH HE WAS NOT. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!
Description of Work: HE WAS CONTRACTED TO RENOVATE OUR KITCHEN TO INCLUDE BUILDING A COUPLE NEW WALLS, INSTALLING CABINETS, RANGE HOOD, APPLIANCES, UPDATING ALL ELECTRICAL AND BUILDING A PANTRY. WE FIRED HIM FOR BLATANT INCOMPETENCY AND HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO FIX HIS WORK AND COMPLETE THE JOB.
