IT IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH CONTRACTORS. THEY DID NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND I SPENT 2 WEEKENDS CLEANING UP THE DEBRIS AND CIGARETTES LEFT BEHIND. WORK WAS JUST BADLY DONE - VERY SLOPPY, I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TO DO A BETTER JOB AFTERWARDS. IT WAS MUCH TOO HASTILY DONE. HE SAID HE WOULD GET THE PERMIT BUT ENDED UP NOT DOING IT AND I ENDED UP DOING IT MYSELF. HE WANTED TO BE PAID AT THE END OF JOB - BUT I ASKED HIM TO COME BACK TO DO A FEW MINOR THINGS TO MAKE IT MORE COMPLETE - TOOK 3 WEEKS TO COME BACK AND WAS NOT WILLING TO ALLOW ME TO HOLD A DEPOSIT SO I MAKE SURE HE COMES BACK TO FINISH IT.
