D & B Tree Service

Their representative came to give me an estimate, arriving when he said he would.  Theirs was the lowest estimate I received, and I decided to have them remove the tree. The crew arrived when they said they would, and they came with appropriate equipment, removed the tree and hauled away the wood.  By the time they were mostly finished, it was 6 pm , and they quit without removing the last foot or so of the tree (I had asked them to flush-cut it at ground level).  They said they would come to finish in a few days, and they did.  They also filled in the indentations in my lawn caused by their equipment, and reseeded it.  I was satisfied with their work.

I compared the prices of a few tree removal companies and found D&B to charge a far cheaper price. The office staff were very friendly and scheduled me in a timely manner. I was happy to learn that the company can still do their job when there is snow on the ground or actually falling (just not in high winds). The job was done exactly as described in the contract and I was very happy with the results.

They were able to take care of things and they were very good.

They came out and removed the trees but damaged my neighbor's fence and my cable wire. I had to call the cable company to fix it. They dug up my neighbor's yard on the other side to cut the tree down. We had to pay our neighbors to get their lawn and yard work done. They were not very professional and I was not happy with them. They did not do the job right in spite of damages.

See above. I can't bear to repeat it. It's like a bad dream. I can't believe I had to pay someone else to do the work D&B tree was supposed to do last summer.

They originally showed on schedule; however, it was too wet to perform the work necessary. This worked out for the best, because they determined they could fit a truck in back to get to the higher limbs. So, they rescheduled the job and brought different equipment. They were very thorough and took their time to make sure they didn't damage anything. They cleaned up everything and there was barely evidence that they were even here. I had to leave early, as did the supervisor and when I got home I noticed 2 trees had not been done completely. I called the next morning and they were back here within 2 hours to finish the job. Overall, they were very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. While I found the price high, they were lower than the other estimates I received. I would definitely use them again.

They came by and gave an estimate and then came by when they said they would and did a good job. They cleaned up well after the job. Their estimate was lower than several other estimates we received for the same work. Would use them again.

They did an exceptional job. They did not cause any damage to our house or anything around it. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They were very courteous and were easy to work with.

When we first set up an appt for them to come out for an estimate, they missed that appt. We rescheduled when I wasn't home, so when he presented me with an estimate, we weren't on the same page. I asked the owner to return when I was home to walk through the estimate and when he did we discussed some changes to the original. He didn't write down all of the work on the estimate as we were going through it, but we had an understanding that he would be there the day of the job and that the little bushes I had pointed out to him would be removed even though they weren't on the estimate. This proved to be a problem. On the day of the job, they also didn't show up, and they called and rescheduled. They did the job while I wasn't home and things I thought would be completed was not so I called the office to ask if they would be returning to finish it, but they told me that they did everything on the estimate. There were lots of calls back and forth. I also had no cable, internet or phone when I returned home the day they did the work. We later discovered that one of the lines had been clipped. Nothing has ever been offered as compensation. I repeatedly asked for Steve to call me and he never did. I continued to disagree that the job was not complete. They came back to remove the bushes, but left the stumps as they said the stump grinder was broken. They came back again to do that and I was out of town. They called me and told me this was not on the original estimate. I then told them that I wanted to part ways because I was so unhappy with the service they were providing. They called me back and said they would remove the stumps for an extra $300 which I said absolutely not. I want to warn other consumers to walk the yard and clearly have it mapped out what needs to be done. I would not recommend them and I would not want them back at my house.

Cleaned up after the work was done the only thing is none of the workers spoke English. We had 2 other quotes and they did the job at the cheapest price. They came and were and gone very quickly.

They did an excellent job. They arrived as scheduled and left the area very clean. The trees look great. We would definitely use them again.

D & B WAS AWESOME! THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO, IN A TIMELY FASHION; AND ON THE BEST PRICE. THEY HAD ENOUGH WORKERS TO GET THE JOB DONE. THEY ALSO CAME IN THE LOWEST ESTIMATE, THAT'S WHY WE CHOSE THEM. THE COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY LANDED A TREE THAT WAS ABOUT 90-100 HIGH PRECISELY NEXT TO THE POOL WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS IN RECORD TIME. EXCELLENT, WORTH EVERY PENNY.

THEY CAME OUT, AS PROMISED, TO SPRAY MY TREE FOR GYPSY MOTHS. MY TREE LOOKS THE BEST IT HAS LOOKED IN A LONG TIME.

WORKERS WERE PROMPT, AND VERY POLITE. CLEAN UP WAS SATISFACTORY.

THE SECRETARY FOLLOWED UP ON MY QUESTIONS HERSELF & RETURNED MY CALLS PROMPTLY. THE TREE CREW ACCOMMODATED OUR REQUESTS. WE HAD A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE WE DEALT WITH.

PUNCTUALITY: THEY SHOWED UP AT 9 AM INSTEAD OF NOON. THIS CAUSED PROBLEMS FOR NEIGHBORS WHO HAD TO MOVE CARS. PROFESSIONALISM: VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS.
