The company installed a total of 40' of gutters and one 4' piece of fascia trim that runs off 1.25" to an existing piece of fascia trim. That run off creates a large gap from the fascia to the exterior wall and doesn't allow the siding to be nailed into anything, multiple vertical 2x4 shims would be required to make up for the gap in order to have something to nail the siding to, this would also create a hump on the exterior wall. Initially Ian Zmud came to my house to review the job, he said he would call if anything came up during the job because his crew are professionals and might see something that he didn't. We did discuss how much trim needed to be replaced and I said only what trim needs to be replaced because I did not know exactly. Ian was great and helpful at the time. The job was completed on Friday June 7th when I was not home. The siding was ordered and took a couple weeks to come in through Lowes (messed up delivery and a special color), by the time the siding started going up (June 29, I realized this issue when I was measuring up from the top of the exterior wall and saw the gap. I texted the Chris, the owner, with photos and a description, who said everyone is on a commercial job for 1 month. I said that is ok I want to work with you to get this resolved because I will have work in the future and want to stay in good standing. He agreed and said to touch base, I call him back a week later and says he will touch base with me in two weeks because they are still busy, I called him 2.5 weeks later (7/29) to review the situation again (after we did a few times via text and on the phone) and this is when he said he cannot help me out because the job is not big enough and I already had paid. This small job would only require a couple hours. Now I am left with a gap and have to find another contractor to come out, quote the job and complete it. I do not feel like I received good customer service or professional craftsmanship on the job.

We thought the job went well. They seem nice. Sometime slow to respond. BUT Several units had water streaming down on house, gutter people came out did a fix. Problem not solved. We called several times and they didn't respond. We finally called out roofing company that had recently put on a new roof for us to check it out. The showed us pictures of the roof in its current state and we were horrified. Nails left on roof, caulking guns exploded on roof, garbage left. The sliced our rubber roof which voided our warranty and also left our house exposed to rain just coming right in under the rubber roof into our houses. They showed us pictures and it was a total mess and very upsetting after we paid over $50,000 for a new roof a few years ago to see the roof so damaged. They might have put on new gutters for us but they ruined the roof which is now being fixed at a cost of $7000 to the condo. Tried to be in touch with gutter people and they stopped responding.

They were cowboy gutter installers, a little cheaper, but shoddy work. Had to have them out a few times to fix leaks and problems. I was just online trying to find someone else to fix their poor work, less than a year after they were last out and realized that I failed to include it hear.

We had Boston Roofing and Gutters out to do a few related tasks: * Replace a stretch of failing gutter along one side of the house (holes had formed and it was dripping onto our front steps) * Repair a stretch of failing gutter along the opposite side of the house (the gutters were intact, but had tilted away from the house and needed reshoring) * Install about 20' of new gutters on sections of the house which never had them Ryan came out promptly to assess the job and provide an estimate. The job was also completed promptly and the quality seems great.

Boston Roofing and Gutters was great to work with. They responded to my request for an estimate very quickly and they were able to come a few days earlier than originally planned to do the work, which was great for me. The individual who did the work, Manny, was very personable and very easy to work with. He did an excellent job on the repair and did a good job cleaning up. I would definitely hire Boston Roofing and Gutter again.

They were responsive in providing a quote which was 30% less than the other company that responded. We ended up hiring them for 2 jobs due to the hard work, honesty and quality of the 2 people on the team who did the work. The jobs been done over a month now with snow and rain and the works held up perfectly. They didn't come when agreed on one occasion but rescheduled promptly.

We needed help cleaning our gutters and making minor repairs to the gutters. There was a winter storm coming and we were hoping to get it completed before the storm. They got back to us quickly and did a great job. Would definitely hire them again.

Work went very well. Workman explained what they were done and accomplished it with no muss and no fuss. I thought that the price was good and felt relieved when the work was done. I would recommend this company.

Excellent. The owner Chris showed up promptly, explained his approach, answered questions, and then provided an estimate. Work started almost immediately and was promptly completed. One item was not quite to my satisfaction; I called Chris and his team came out within a few days and fixed it.

Replaced all gutters. Work was completed in one day. Great team. Chris was very responsive easy to talk to and pointed out areas that required attention.

It went smoothly. The contractor came as scheduled and replaced the broken gutter. As an additional help, he fixed the door mantle as well. It is hard to find contractors who keep their word and Boston Gutters did a great job as promised.

Took a few calls to get a response. Work was done promptly. Debris (several pieces of flashing) was left on the ground after workers left. I called to have it picked up and no one called back. Also, repairs were not completely effective and I am unsure if one of the ones that was recommended was necessary.

Chris at Boston Gutters was great to work with! He and his team were very informative with solutions to my gutter issues and always came up with any number of esthetically pleasing, yet affordable options to make my gutters look and work perfect!
