Cornerstone Chimney

Jay was great. Easy to work with. We discussed solutions to a down draft in my chimney and a problem with squirrels.He installed two new flue extensions with caps. He cleaned out a giant squirrel nest and he adjusted my flue. I would definitely hire him again and would definitely recommend him.

Went well: cap blew off in recent nor’easter; cleaned the cap and chimney and reinstalled. No weather in the chimney since reinstalling.

We cannot say enough great things about Jay. He is responsive, knowledgeable and does excellent work.

Super grateful to Jay for solving our problem of a yellow jacket nest in one of our chimneys! We had already had a pest/exterminator out who couldn't handle the problem and recommended a chimney specialist. We called a few - none of whom were willing to deal with bees/yellow jackets. When we contacted Cornerstone Chimney they were willing to take on the problem and made an appointment for just two days later. Jay came out and was efficient and fantastic, took care of the problem by suctioning out the nest with none of the hesitation that the other chimney specialists we'd contacted had. Very fair price, would definitely hire again though I will mention I think they primary service Massachusetts (we're in Rhode Island). Thank you again Jay!

Better than I imagined. Great service for a low price. I expected to have to wait around like normal for service people, but the guy was timely and didn't leave a mess. Definitely calling back for my next cleaning!

Terrible came back twice chimney not cleaned as musty odor from chimney remained. Called again to complain no response

We were absolutely delighted by Jay's service. He was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He gave us lots of good advice and didn't try to talk us into buying items or services - in fact if anything when we'd ask him about something his response was often "you don't need to do that" or "you might want to consider that but it's not urgent, just call me when you're ready." His rates were reasonable, and he even was available over the weekend. I plan to keep working with him and recommend him very highly.
