Steve Littlewood Plumbing and Heating

We have been in the remodeling business for over 25 years. We have worked with many different contractors in this period of time. It is hard to find someone who is honest, reliable and does quality work. We have been using Steve Littlewood for the past 10 years for all of our plumbing work and they are always professional. The one time a new faucet we supplied failed and he came the next day to replace it at no charge. In 25 years we have heard all the excuses from contractors and with Steve there has been none of that. I always recommend him to other contractor and they are also very happy with this his work.

Steven Littlewood took every shortcut possible on my house. He eventually left half way through the job. I paid him in advance and he took off with over $20,000. He didn't answer my calls for months. The only reason I didn't sue is because he had kids and I felt bad about doing that. Eventually I called him from a different number and he picked up and after lots of haggling he finished some of the basic work, but my home was destroyed. I have paid over $50,000 in repairs which was my life savings. I have cried many times realizing I spent every dime I had on a con job. Please watch out and research who you do business with.

A total scammer. He installed our Navien water heater 4 years ago. We started having heating issues in the winter, but thought it was just because it was an extra brutal winter. Now we have no hot water. My husband tried calling Steve and leaving him messages. He got no reply. We had another plumber come out and he told us it was installed improperly and Steve cut a lot of corners. Now it's going to cost us even more to have it reinstalled properly. I called Steve from my cell phone and he actually answered. I explained what the new plumber told us and Steve told me he would come over that day to look at it. He never showed and never called. I checked on Angie's List and someone posted the exact thing happened to them. Avoid this plumber at all costs.

We thought it went well until we started having problems and he ultimately never showed up to rectify issues (e.g., upstairs temperature reading lower than thermostat setting on cold days). He would make appointments to fix the issue and never show up. Then, he just stopped returning text messages and voicemails. We had three other plumbers come out to fix the issues on several different occasions. Each one commenting on how poorly the conversion was done (lots of cut corners). Two commented that it couldn't have passed inspection and one refused to touch our system because then he "would own it" and he saw that as a risk he couldn't take. So I had the town plumbing inspector come out and he said he had never been to my house to inspect the system, nor had he heard of Steve Littlewood Plumbing, despite the fact that Steve had done several Scituate jobs. Stay away from this plumber or you too will suffer the consequences of poor workmanship.

Went fine up until 12/15/2014..there is a crack in the bottom of my bath tub..I text Steve he did not respond.
I text him again he was going to come and look at it.
He never showed up..then he said he would come take a look
December 29th at 7:30..again never showed up and never called. .I called him and left him a message
he never returned my call nor texts...I would Never recommend him..ever

It went fine, Steve made sure I was pleased with the work he did and would ask if I was satisfied. I would recommend to others.
