The overall experience was terrible. My ex wife is a long term substance abuse, with addictions to unsafe violent s**, hard core p**********, uncontrolled spending, and psychologically and physically abusive. I found that the Dr allowed my very hostile ex-wife to sit in with my son, so she could monitor what he said. If she didn't sit in, the Dr would tell her afterwards, as he said that he "needed to preserve my relationship with (my son's) mother". If he said anything that she didn't like, he'd be bullied and punished for months afterwards. The Dr. was wholly focussed on doing what she wanted and nothing for my son. If she didn't sit in the session, she would go in before hand and spend up to half an hour talking to the Dr herself. When I asked to talk to the Dr, he told me that it wasn't allowed. He never explained why there was totally different treatment of me vs my ex wife. His total disregard for my son's right to privacy even carried over to the legal area. He would write letters to Probate Court Judges, without any authorization from a GAL, and he would provide these letters only to my ex wife, so she could suppress them if they didn't say exactly what she wanted. In one case what he wrote revealed that she had been lying to him to obviously, that she had to suppress the letter for that reason. But it gave a good indication of just how poor a therapist he is. He either didn't notice or care that he was being "run" by a hostile ex spouse, and believing whatever she said, and doing whatever she said. My son just got worse and worse and worse. Avoid this practice and this "therapist" at all costs.
Description of Work: "Dr " Mogilnicki of Psychology Associates, Court St, Plymouth, was supposed to be providing help to my young son in the aftermath of a bad divorce and a very stressful home life where he lived with his mother and grandmother who screamed and fought all the time. Since my ex wife was going to many of my son's sessions, I asked to go.
