A conscientious attention to detail is the hallmark of Jason's approach to both planning and executing all phases of renovation. As well, his craftsmanship in the finish work shines! Jason and his team were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entire team helped us feel comfortable with the work being done, and are very trustworthy (a huge plus if you're going to have contractors in your home on a regular basis). He kept us updated at every step of the process, clearly communicating with us regarding scheduling, the options we had and the costs. Not once did we feel that we needed to chase them down on any aspect of our project. We would hire this group of professionals again for any future construction/home improvement project at our home.

Jay and his team at New Leaf Building are exceptional and clearly among the best. They have done numerous jobs for us at three different locations including bathroom renovations, portico renovation,and complete new roofing to name a few. Everything that has been done has exceeded our expectations, on time and on budget with no exceptions. The most impressive so far has been the work done to our newly purchased house, circa 1729. The dimensions of just about everything are different than in newer homes and it's been tricky to maximize space while keeping the charm of the old structure. Jay has been a master at this and has a great eye for detail and design. In keeping with the period of the original house, I was very impressed by his ability to install new flooring that perfectly matched the original floors in the connecting rooms. He custom matched the color by mixing a variety of stains and applied coats until it was perfect, variations and all. I never expected such a close match and was thrilled to say the least. I can also say the same about the cabinetry and built in radiator enclosures. Small improvements made a huge difference. The exterior work on our barn and another more modern house that they did was just as well done. Again, great attention to detail. Also,everything was well orchestrated with his sub contractors and we always felt informed. Jay oversees everything closely and everyone who worked on the house was professional, respectful, and polite. His crew was very clean and kept the dust to a minimum. Even the demolition phase was clean with complete vacuum after each day. I can't say enough about the work of New Leaf Building and will definitely hire them again.
