Prompt courteous parts replaced as requested however price quoted not including parts as noted was not what was charged was not informed of service charges in addition to hourly labor charges I have learned to next time ask more questions regarding price

It took about 4 days. Back &’forth between the Manufacturer and distributor & plumber. Dan tried many things that he was instructed to do. Did not work. In the end, Dan got me a New water heater since it was brand new. So very helpful & kind. Definitely recommend.

The plumber and apprentice sent over from DMG showed up on time, were polite, friendly and did a thorough, honest job. Never felt pressured to do any more repair than was needed. Our particular plumber actually works out of the Weymouth area so we feel even better about the possibility of calling them again should something arise.

This review is for service that happened around two years ago. However, I am glad I delayed my review as I have since discovered more details about the work performed (or lack thereof) that has clarified the situation. I had DMG Plumbing out to our house twice back around 2016 to repair a bathtub faucet. I suspected the entire faucet assembly might have been bad, so I had a brand new faucet and parts available when the plumber arrived. The first repair attempt wasn't successful even though the plumber claimed it was - I think we were getting low water pressure from the faucet. The first visit was around $300. So we brought him back for a second visit. The plumber said he repaired the faucet (for real this time...). But instead of giving me the callback visit for free, since he didn't fix it correctly the first time, he charged us again (another $300). I go to use that shower after the visit and nothing but hot water comes out of the faucet! At that point I was fed up and (stupidly) didn't chase this issue again with DMG. The hot water was just about tolerable and we didn't use that shower much anyways. Fast forward to late 2018. I bring in a new, different plumber this time. He takes apart the faucet and shows me the cartridge - it's old and worn out (one of the parts inside seemed to have seized). Basically, the cartridge, the part I paid around $600 to be replaced, never was actually replaced by DMG! Thirty minutes later and the new plumber had hot and COLD water running again, and replaced all of the trim on the faucet for good measure. The new plumber actually had me TRY running hot and cold water through the faucet before he left, a simple excercise that DMG hadn't done. I cannot recommend DMG Plumbing - if they can't replace a faucet cartridge in earnest and stand behind their work I certainly would not trust them for anything more complicated.

The pump that pumps waste water up to the main waste line was seized. Dan and I had a good laugh about the root of the problem. He and his office was very responsive to my service call and got to me as soon as his schedule allowed. Since it wasn’t an emergency, I was able to wait a day. It’s fixed, I’m happy and I found a new plumber. Thanks Dan!

He and his staff are always great. They are prompt at getting back to me. They are always pleasant and professional. His prices are always reasonable and the workmanship is always top notch. He has repaired dripping faucets, broken pipes, resealed toilets for us. He also installed a new shower system, he was so great in helping me figure out how to find the best one out there to replace the old one that was rather unique. He has a lot of patience as we trouble shoot and then he shifts into resolving the issue. Pleasant to have around our busy household. Prompt, courteous, professional. Living in an old house it is so nice to have a good plumber to call when needed!

Dan is our go-to guy. Quick response time, thoughtful problem solver, great workmanship. I live in an old house and have a rental house so having a reliable plumber is important. I wanted to swap out a faucet for a shower-faucet combination for our claw foot tub. Other plumbers suggested replacing the whole system which would have been 6 or 7 thousand dollars. It had very narrow entry piping. He looked at it and suggested looking for the same manufacturer to see if they had a fixture that would fit the narrow piping. I found it and got the whole job completed for around $600 including materials and labor. I was looking at other options that would have been 6 or 7k and far more invasive to our finished bathroom. He has also helped fix leaky faucets, running toilets and track down where the mystery leak is coming from. Big or small projects he has the same “can-do” attitude. The woman who does his scheduling is an absolute doll. She sets up an appointment or gets us onto a phone call depending on the issue. I would refer to friends but I almost don’t want to share this team?

DMG was very responsive to my call, we had an appointment scheduled within one business day. Dan was efficient, prompt and communicated well prior to the appointment. He quickly performed all of the work and provided me with information about how to look for "vintage" taps that will match our existing plumber much better. The price was reasonable for the amount of time spent and work was done swiftly and competently. Would definitely recommend and rehire.
