We bought our house in June of 2015 and were given a single key which we were told worked on the side door (nope - didn't work). After over five months of using the garage door for everything we decided it was time to get our home locks in order. Associated came out on 11/30/15 and did a great job. Not having any keys makes re-keying existing locks pretty difficult but they were able to pick and match every knob - we replaced a single knob that was pretty beat up. Upon opening up the existing deadbolts it was discovered they pretty much could be opened with any key - real secure. We replaced the three existing deadbolts and added a forth to a rear exterior door (including drilling and mounting) and I couldn't be happier. We now have a single key for all nine locks. Paul was extremely apologetic as the total came up $ 150.00 more than what was roughly quoted over the phone (assuming just re-keying all existing locks) but given we didn't have any existing keys to work from and all deadbolts needed to be replaced the overages were more than fair. You definitely can't go wrong with Associated

Paul is an amazing service provider. He was patient and took the time to really understand my needs before committing to an appointment time. He called ahead to confirm our appointment before coming and when he got here took the time to walk through our situation look at each of the locks and give me an idea as to what needed to be done and what didn't. I had a broken deadbolt and rather than sell me a new one, he found a part in his truck and repaired it at no charge. He was thorough, efficient and a delightful source of information about our new town. He is the epitome of a local businessman who cares more about his customers needs and satisfaction than his time and energy. If you need a locksmith, you should call Paul.

.When I discovered that my key suddenly wouldn't work to let me enter my home yesterday, I knew who to call. Paul had done a great job replacing locks for my elderly sister's home in Kingston this winter. I hadn't anticipated ever needing his services for my home in Middleboro. I called at 11:30AM ( he told me upfront the $120 charge for a lockout service call so there were no price surprises)and he was at my home in Middleboro within a half hour. I thought perhaps the failed lock would have to be replaced (incurring additional charges for a new lock set) but he said there was no need and quickly replaced the broken portion of the mechanism. Since I also couldn't unlock my front storm door to get at the front door, I asked if he could find a key for it - he did and supplied it without additional charge. Great service - I'm giving his number to my friends.

My eighty-three year-old sister was due to be released from her rehab facility on a very short time frame .Because we had multiple people with keys working to update her home during her stay in a nursing home, we realized shortly before her return home that the locks should be changed for her sense of security. I contacted Paul, he replied rapidly and we scheduled the work. He was prompt, professional and personable - completing the work well and patiently explaining the mechanics of it to me (who appreciated the effort even though I really don't "get" most mechanical concepts) and to my brother who definitely does understand and appreciated the detail. He generously supplied extra keys and told us if we found that if we found my sister needed a lever type (rather than a knob type) opening within a few days of returning home, he would be glad to switch it out for us. Paul was a pleasure to work with and if my own home ever needs a locksmith's services, he is the person I will call.

Our basement door blew open during the January 27-28 blizzard and the door lock broke. I called Paul Grossman the next morning and he returned my call within 30 minutes and was here to install a new dead lock bolt within 24 hours. Excellent service and response.

l called Associated Key and Lock, and was pleased to talk to a person and not an answering machine! Paul Grossman, the locksmith, was at my house in less than ten minutes. He got to work immediately as he had what he needed in his van to install a deadbolt on our front door as well as key the front and back door to use one key. He was very professional and competent as well as polite and amiable. We had questions about some other door issues in the house, and Paul offered us sound advice on how to handle them. We are having Paul back next week to install a new lock set on our patio door. I highly recommend Paul Grossman of Associated Lock and Key!

When I called Mr. Grossman, he said he could be there in an hour, and he was. The two deadbolt locks we needed re-keyed were old fashioned, using lead pins, which needed to be fit to size by hand. Not only did he have the correct equipment to do this, but he did them in an expeditious manner, not even charging us extra for the additional work this entailed. I was very pleased with his professionalism, his responsiveness, and his excellent work. I will definitely call him again when i am in need of lock or key work.

We locked ourselves out of our new home - and called this Angie's List locksmith, who came immediately. Locks were in disrepair, so he replaced all three. We were VERY happy with his promptness, thoroughness and professionalism!

Its tough to find a good locksmith these days, even on Angie's list. Google is no help either. There are lots of fakes that pretend to be local but aren't. These "shadow locksmiths" place ads in local yellow pages but in reality theu have no office or storefront. They are fly-by-night rip off artists. You call the supposed local phone number and your info is taken by a national dispatcher. Next there's a free for all. The first "locksmith" to respond gets the job. They wanted $350 to install one deadbolt in my sister's cottage. She was alone and when I walked in I asked how much again and he repeated $350. He said it was because the wood door was old! I told him to get lost and he wanted $25 for a service call. I told him to send me an invoice. He left swearing at us in Russian. Enter Paul Grossman, a REAL Locksmith with a storefront and a local address! Paul was great. I called him up on a Saturday. He was just finishing a job in our area. He agreed to meet me at the cottage. He beat me there. My sister was home and he got started before I arrived. He expertly fixed and realigned 2 deadbolts. He matched the locks so now only one key was needed to operate both locks. I initially wanted new locks installed but he said it wasn't needed. He could just fix what we already had. Paul's total for fixing both locks was $150!
