R.A. Movers

RA Movers James Pina, should never be hired by anyone who values the property. They broke three credenzas, I have seven pairs of expensive boots missing, which I believe they stole. They rampaged through many of my items, and now I am missing all types of items that were cherished memories between my lay husband and I. They broke pieces of furniture and gouged an antique table and hid it behind boxes when they delivered my goods so that I wouldn't see it till after they were gone.. They refused to give me any reimbursement. I have moved 10 times and this is the only time I have ever had a problem with the mover. They are not less expensive than other movers in the long run. You will pay much more trying to replace all the things that they will destroy or steaI. What it cost me was about $15000 in missing items and furniture that is heirloom and cannot be replaced.

I moved in the middle of the corona virus pandemic. It was very stressful on many levels. James was laid back and casual which was very calming in all of my stress. He and his crew arrived and took over. I didn't finish packing and they handled it all without missing a beat. They took great care with my belongings, wrapping everything and being careful not to damage anything. I was very concerned about my piano, and they handled it easily. Moving in was just as easy. They put things where I wanted them and reassembled everything. I can't recommend them highly enough. They were fun and easy to be around, chatting as they worked. They took a very stressful situation and made it easy! Don't hesitate to hire them!

To choose a moving company, I relied on the excellent reviews given to R.A. Movers. I was not disappointed. James and his crew handled our goods with care. We moved out of state. On Saturday, they packed carefully and met us at our rented storage facility on Monday. They are very professional, reasonably priced and courteous. I recommend R A Movers wholeheartedly - great company.

Very well. James, Gene and Jay arrived early and were ready to go. They were professional and had some good tips for future furniture moves. We have a very old farmhouse, with narrow doorways and stairs. Our Queen-sized box spring and frame did not fit and they told us about foldable bed frames you can buy that would be able to fit through our doorways. That was very helpful. They finished in about 4 hours which was really quick. The cost noted below is before taxes. The total came to about $588 and we gave them a tip on top of that.

Once they arrived, they were great! Professional, fast, courteous, and efficient. However, our 11:00 AM time slot ended up being 2:45 PM, due to a morning job running over. It took a call and leaving a message to get a call back from them, after they were already supposed to have arrived. Also, although they completed the job an hour early, there was no discount for unused time. I still tipped them, and I would use them again. Just a few points to keep in mind.

The guys came in and moved us quickly. Their rate was a little higher than some others, but very fair given how heavy our furniture was and the stairs we have at the new house. We were bummed that our grill wasn't carried up to the deck before the guys left, but that could've been an oversight. Overall I would recommend them.

Great communication, punctuality and professional.

I used James and his crew for a move on Friday, March 15, 2019. They showed the ultimate care and professionalism for my property. They were supposed to arrive at 8 AM and called me and asked me if they could come earlier which was great for me. They moved everything carefully, wrapped it, and took anything apart that I asked them to do and went directly to the new residence and then unloaded everything in an orderly and professional manner. Put everything where it needed to go, and even assembled some of the things that I had told them previously that I was going to do. The best thing was that the cost came in below the estimate. These guys did a terrific job, I would highly recommend them to anyone and I would absolutely use them again. They made what could’ve been a very stressful day a breeze.

RA movers did the best and quickest job I’ve ever had with a move. I needed all my furniture and studio equipment out and they did the whole entire job in one day. I appreciate them more than anything and I reccomend RA movers to anyone trying to move. RESPECT AND GOOD BUSINESS.
