Paul's Construction

We were given Paul's information from a friend who owns numerous rental properties in Winchester to contact about making renovations to a new home we purchased in Reading MA. Initially the scope of the work included a kitchen renovation and leveling a family room floor that was sloped because it used to be a garage and a few other minor repairs. He acted as our general contractor and connected us with the necessary sub-contractors to perform electrical, plumbing, plaster, paint jobs and custom cabinets as needed. We had our own preferred HVAC and flooring contractors who Paul worked with. He sat down and gave us sketches of several options for our family room and kitchen updates and gave estimates for the cost of each. He scheduled all work so that we could move into our new home after all the work was complete. As the work started we found a number of problems that expanded the scope of the work to include a full bathroom rebuild, adding additional support under our master bedroom and reinforcing the roof in our family room. We ended up being slightly behind schedule due to the expanded scope of the work. But all work was on budget and we were able to move into our new home on the date we were promised. We have had Paul back to do additional jobs and we could not be happier with the way our home has turned out. It has been a pleasure working with Paul and we will continue to use him when we have additional work to do on our house. We also now go directly to his sub-contractors with pluming and electrical work.
