Richard Joseph Electric

I had poor electrical power with lights blinking off when appliances were running. I wanted a 200 amp upgrade to my service. I got 5 estimates. Richard Joseph Electric was the lowest bid. In some cases by over one thousand dollars. He came out, gave me an estimate and said that all the work could be completed in one day. When he arrived we found out that the neutral wire on the pole was disconnected and that I wasn't getting a full 120 on one of the lines and I was getting way over 120 on another line. He immediately called the electric company to re-wire the pole and reconnect the neutral wire. If this hadn't have been discovered I could have destroyed all my 110 volt appliances and possibly burned the house down because of the imbalance of the two hot wires coming into the house. As promised all the work was done in one day and the final price was exactly as quoted.

Richard Joseph is a knowledgeable and professional electrician. We needed a new electrical outlet (on its own circuit) in our office. Richard gave me a quote over the phone, and we had him come out to do the work. It turned out to be a more difficult job than what he had originally anticipated, but he did stick by his original quote. We were very happy with his work, and we are using him for some other jobs, and he will be our preferred electrician going forward.
