Frank came out last fall to look at our house and give us a quote for exterior painting to be done the following spring/summer. He noticed rotting wood and suggested we get the rotted trim and clapboards replaced immediately before the winter came. He submitted a contract to us within days. We signed it and returned it. A week or so later he had his carpenters come out and start replacing the rotted wood. We have no gutters, so some areas of our house were really starting to rot, even though the house is only 5 years old. On the trim, the carpenters used a resin-type material so there will be no rotting in the future in the areas they replaced. There was a lot more work to be done than initially noticed. Frank did not charge us a dime more than he quoted, even though his workers were here more than twice as long because of the additional trim to be replaced. They did an excellent job replacing the wood. This summer the weather wasn't cooperating with extreme heat and lots of rain so it took a while for the painters to get here. When they did arrive, Frank sent a double crew and they caulked, painted 2 coats of stain on the clapboards and 2 coats of paint on the trim and a front and back porch (stained) in 2 days. They worked from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm both days and finished our house in record time. Frank suggested we paint the bulkhead a different color and it looks fantastic against the house now. They even painted our mailbox! They are a phenomenal company, very meticulous and I think they did a great job. Frank knows that reputation is everything. If we had any problems with the work, I know Frank would be back in a heartbeat to fix whatever the problem was.
