These guys were fantastic from start to finish! Jim and his men worked hard, efficient, and quick. The fastest to provide a quote, the best quote out of 4 other companies, gorgeous 6 foot vinyl fencing, professional, and prompt! They tore down our fence and put the other one up all in under 8 hours! Did I mention how stunning it looks! Thanks guys!! Here are some before and after transformation photos! Jim Marconi came within a day after I called him. He gave me the estimate right away for $3395 after deducting the Angie's list discount. This price was similar to the other estimate I received. About 3 weeks later, Tony and his crew of two other men installed the Interstate Brand Open Spindle Straight Top Vinyl Fence. Tony was very experienced and has worked with Jim for many years. The did a very good job. The fence is great. I would recommend this company without reservation.

Sentry Fence and Iron, owned by Jim Marconi, was a true pleasure to do business with. As part of a larger construction project, I was having a deck replaced and needed a privacy fence mounted to a concrete retaining wall. Jim came out to give me an estimate the morning after I called. His workers were at my home within a few days...They installed the steel support posts so the contractor could complete the deck. The fence was then up/completed within two weeks, just before Christmas! Jim is “easy going”, very fair with his estimates, and trustworthy. His men are hard working, detail oriented, and left my property looking perfect. It’s not often that you find a contractor that delivers on his promise of quality and time but Jim Marconi did just that. I highly recommend this company for any fencing needs you may have.

I called Jim and he gave me an estimate over the phone and made an appointment for the following week to come out and measure it and talk with us. When he measured the distance it was a little less than I had told him since we decided not to have the fence go into the woods. He gave us a written estimate on the spot and we gave him a deposit. A couple of weeks later the material was in and his crew came out and installed it in a day. Looks beautiful and we wished we had done it years ago. Very happy.

Superb experience. Jim Marconi is as good as it can get. He arrived on time for the estimate, provided all of the important details (material and labor costs, options for materials, styles, layouts, etc.), so I could make an informed decision. He also provided me with an estimate on the spot, so no wait time! On the day of the job, I had the same great experience. The head worker Mike was just great - very patient with our questions and concerns, and took the time to walk us through the project. The other workers were just as professional and respectful. At the end of the job, they made sure to clean the property as best as possible. I honesty had no issues with this company, would work with them again, and highly recommend them to others. I would highly recommend Sentry Fence Company. Jim Marconi, the owner was very responsive in returning phone calls, on time for estimate appointment, and very knowledgeable in fence installations. I had about 230 feet of wooden fencing removed and disposed of, which was then replaced with vinyl fencing. The vinyl fencing added to the appearance of my property, and in addition will improve my property's value. Sentry Fence's crew did an excellent job removing my old wooden fence, and installing a new vinyl fence. Sentry's crew worked very hard in my yard, and when they were finished, left my yard clean and in great shape. The total time for complete removal of my old wooden fence, and installation of my new vinyl fence took only two days. I am very happy with my new fence, and would highly recommend Sentry Fence.

I had heard nothing but good things about Jim and his crew firsthand from a friend as well as positive reviews on Angie's list. Sentry wasn't the best price but they were very competitive with other bids I got. The work started about a week or so later than anticipated but once the work started it was done in about a day and a half as promised. The fence is terrific and its great to have piece of mind that my kids and pets can now safely enjoy our backyard.

I would highly recommend this company; and I will add that I am probably one of the pickiest guys around. Jim (the owner) was ultra responsive in terms of returning calls, showed up when he said he would, gave me a fair price and the guys did an outstanding job with the install. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I am the type of person who researches everything before I buy and or have a service done. I got 3 estimates from 3 reputable fencing companies on the North Shore, Sentry pricing was very good and most affordable, but without a doubt Jim was the most honest and knowledge and forth coming with information regarding the job, Which made Sentry an easy choice. Jim showed up the first day to introduce his crew go over the job etc... His crew was great to deal with and left my yard clean and in great shape. The quality of the fence is fantastic, we couldn't be happier. I also received a call several days later to make sure we were happy with everything. I would definitely recommend Sentry Fence.

Jim came out shortly after I contacted him to give an estimate. He arrived on time, was professional, and quickly provided quotes for several different options. The quotes were firm, complete, and did not have a lot of contingency fees included as was the case with other contractors. Jim also agreed to give us an Angie's list discount that had actually expired. We agreed to have a cedar stockade fence installed to replace a damaged chain link one.
On the day the project was scheduled his team, Tony and Gary, arrived right on time at 8:30 in the morning and worked steadily on a sweltering July day with high temps and humidity. They were careful of neighbors plants, precise in getting the fence level and on line, and ensured it was sturdy. The fence looks great.

I would highly recommend this company. They were extremely professional. They were punctual, did exactly what was agreed upon, and cleaned the entire area. I had my stockade fence replaced with a chainlink. I added winged slats. I also had bollards added behind fence because my neighbors would often hit the old stockade. Sentry fence suggested that I add the bollards and I am so very happy I did. Price was reasonable for such a beautiful fence. Very happy with the work.

The provider was very professional. They came right out and gave a great estimate, and helped me decide on the type of fencing needed for our yard. They were one of the best estimates, for better materials. They called and told me they would be able to finish work ahead of schedule, and were great about completing the work. Great company!
