Two man team quickly became a one man team when they didn't have the materials.
Some small damage that was patched.
Left exposed nail heads which I had to climb-up to see, and complain about.
I hope that caulked nail heads don't rust.
Overall happy with the result, and would definitely use them again.

Leo was very responsive with the quote and any questions we had. The crew was his brothers, who were all very nice and professional. They showed up on time and worked late until the job was done.

Everyone involved did a wonderful job. The only glitch if you want to call it that, was our initial appointment to have the owner come over and give us an estimate was missed. When he realized he had missed it, he called, rescheduled, apologized and all was fine. Everyone was prompt, efficient,pleasant and the quality of their work was excellent.

I thought that the quoted price included my storage shed.It did not.The job took a lot longer than I expected but we did have several very warm and rainy days that the crew did not work.

A local contractor fixed a leak in our siding and pointed out that our roof shingles were curling up and, in several cases, has pulled loose. Used Angie's List and Checkbook to identify candidates, put job out to bid. One roofer declined, saying the job was too big for him, but recommended Old Colony for its large crew. Three or four other bids came in at $14,000 to $16,000. Old Colony bid lower. In discussions about the job, Old Colony badly wanted the work -- had commitment to buy shingles during year and no place to put them -- and had probably not had enough roofing work last year. Agent cut his price to $9,000. Did the whole job in one day, with crew of 15. Mess inside attic space -- I should have known but didn't prepare for it. Included peak vents and removed antique roof fan (long out of use). Job looks great. Only time will tell the quality of the job. The initial test is heavy blizzard four days later, then melting and ice on roof. Probably ice dams. No leaks visible a month later. A little snow fell during the work. Crew tossed snow around. But as dark fell the clean up fell short. A number of small pieces of asphalt shingle and wood splinters left in yard. Probably nails, too (picked up a bunch). Despite several talks with company agent, and promises made during two days with ground clear of snow, no final cleanup done.

Absolutely incredible. Great quality windows installed with care and precision. They picked up every scrap of rubbish from the window packaging and aluminum trim. I was given notice of when my windows would be in and installed. They showed when they said they would and it took as long as they said it would. They work incredibly hard all day and put in long hours. I love how my new windows have made my house look so much nicer. The windows they installed are unbelievably air tight. with the recent high winds we had, I didn't hear a thing and best of all, I ran my hand around all four sides and didn't feel even the slightest draft. It's great knowing Leo Kiley and his brothers are out there to call for windows, roofs, siding and other home improvements! Excellent work for excellent prices.

They did outstanding work. I have a two-family house which was built in the 1880s. We did the windows from the basement all the way up to the second floor; I had them take out 26 old, storm windows and replace them with new double-pane windows. They did it within a day and a half. They took the old siding off, and they had the whole house sided within a month. My house looks brand new and it feels tighter. They sealed the place up so well that my tenants told me that they turned the thermostat down 12 degrees. I had them replace two entryway doors that I had at the rear of my house because they had rotted out. I think they also do driveways. They were prompt, and the work was done well. I would rate them highly and would highly recommend them.

I had a very tight time frame to do renovations prior to moving into my home and they were very accommodating. They started the job within an hour of the closing. I had a couple of windows that were set up in the ceiling which posed some difficulties for the other contractors who bid for the job but Old Colony was experienced in dealing with this issue. I highly recommend them.

Leo came by on 9/6/2006 and the job was contracted on 9/8. Later, I added the storm doors and more shutters to raise the total cost a bit. The replacement windows and patio door arrived on 10/6 and were installed by Bart and his brothers in two and a half days in a flurry of activity. Vinyl siding deliveries started on 10/18. The repairs were completed and the vinyl siding was installed by Kevin's crew over the next three weeks. During this time, Bart installed the remaining doors, installed siding around the electrical entry, and installed exterior fixtures. During the siding installation, delays occurred because of bad weather, late siding deliveries and other job commitments. The job was completed on 11/7. On the whole, the job was virtually painless. Although I can't judge yet how weather-tight the house is, everything is fastened down firmly and trimmed out neatly. The house looks great!

These guys did a great job. They replaced the siding, two doors and 26 windows for my two family house. They were quick, efficient and affordable. The windows for each apartment were installed in two days. One day for each apartment. When you deal with this company, you deal directly with the owners. I highly recommend them.
