About us
Nelsons plumbing is a complete plumbing and heating company. We do full remodeling of bathrooms and kitchens along with large and small repairs. Most of our work is done in house with the exception of an electrician if needed for a boiler or remodel job. Most of our services have preset prices with the exception of a few jobs that may require a visual estimate. Nelson's plumbing offers senior citizen, second service, preventive maintenance and other discounts. Our phones are answered 24 hours 7 days per week by our own employees. That allows you to call anytime to schedule a job or simply ask questions. We can handle most service calls between the hours of 8am and 8 pm monday thru saturday and 9am to 5pm on sunday. Emergency calls are an exception and may be handled after the hours listed.

It didn’t go well at all he showed up started doing the job he was in the basement for atleast 4 hours comes up says the job is done me being kind and trusting him I decided to give the money before checking it out mind you I paid him already I decided to go shower the water doesn’t turn on I got to the basement and the job is half done and there’s Atleast 4 inches of water in the basement floors called his personal number s d the office number and never got a respond again

After Nelson gave me an estimate of the work, he asked me when would I like the job done. My answer was as soon as possible. He checked with his office with a quick phone call, and he said he could complete the project on the spot if I wanted.
I was thrilled since I've put off this project due to dissatisfaction with other local plumbers I have worked before.
He also called for an assistant to join in to make the job go faster.
The team worked with no distraction to my household, they covered the floors with blankets to protect them, used the side porch entrance to minimize traffic through the main house.
They were very professional, courteous, informed and to the point. The installation went smoothly, they even took the old toilet and the new packaging that I would have to deal with otherwise.
They price was reasonable and exactly what the estimate was.
I can not be more pleased, and would recommend this team to any person in search of excellent plumbing and heating services.

showed up unprepared, though had been provided with PVC he was supposed to bring; refused to dig out pipe 2 inches below ground and left a hole after repair; sat in truck for 15 minutes rewriting invoice;

"I am not sure how this review slipped by me but I would like to respond. Any review is helpful. It allows us to maintain good service or improve were needed. I only wish you have called my office to discuss the matter and we could have worked this out. I did research the job. Our service techs arrived at 843 am and left the residence at 10am we track every service techs time in and out of the job. With reasonable travel time of 15 to 20 minutes this would mean we were the job time is 1.5 hours.That does not even include supply house time to obtain any parts which could ad another hour to the job that we did not charge for. At some point we had to buy the parts. Our labor charge was based on two hours. $145 first hour and $93 second. We sent 2 techs and only charged for 1. The total labor was $238. Which is very fair in the plumbing industry for any small repair. We gave a 10% discount of $23 .For a total labor costs of $215. We charged $14.00 For materials for a total job costs of $229.00 Thats what was collected. Not $300 as stated. Unlike many service companies we offer a 2 hour time frame for all appointments. In this case we would of said 8 am to 10am. Thats very standard for us.It appears we got there at 843am and left at 10am.This is not a case that the customer waited all day for a tech to show up. If there was any misunderstanding of time and we were late we still arrived at 843am which is pretty close to the first call of the day for most service companies. If the service techs needed to stop at the supply house for parts or fuel then an 843am arrival is pretty much the first call of the day. We strive on customer satisfaction and great service. if anyone has any type of dissatisfaction or questions with our service or price we encourage them to call our office. In 90% of the time we call the customer when the work was complete to make sure everything was fine. I apologize for any inconvenience. I needed to comment of the overcharges. We gave a 10% discount, only charged for the average time of 2 hours, only charged for 1 tech, the supplies only costs $14.00, and we did not charge $300.00. It took them about 4 hours to complete the work. They are reliable and come out when they say that they are going to come. If they don?t know when their calendar is free, they will call me back and keep me informed. I just sign a contract and they do a good job and I tend to not mind paying a little more for the job. They are also very good in getting me the warranty information and also make sure that I get some kind of rebate.
