Conservators of landmarks and properties of historic distinction, Murray Masonry specializes in large or comprehensive residential and small to medium sized commercial brick and stone restoration projects; specifically re-construction, alteration, and additions. Many of our projects are performed in concert with architects and engineers and require exceptional skill in original means, methods, and materials. Some examples of the types of projects we undertake include, but are not limited to the following: Rebuilding failed staircases, chimneys, or stone/brick foundations and facades. Replacing or repairing concrete, steel, or stone lintels and sills. Sourcing and remediation of leaks. Replacing landscape walls, staircases, patios, and walls. Matching brick or stone to existing structure on a new addition. Many other types of work are performed including both restoration and new construction in historical settings. I've been using Murray Masonry several times over the years starting with re-building my chimney followed by re-pointing the inside of my 100 year old granite foundation. Most recently they had to return and repair the outside of my foundation damage from a groundhog. While they were here I had them re-build some new steps for my entrance. I love love my new steps and the quality of their work is exceptional and totally professional. This business is a well run establishment from the top down. Brendan treats his employees respectfully and hence they produce a good product. His estimates are always on target and reasonable.

We have worked with Murray Masonry on several projects and have always been extremely happy with the work that they perform. With this project, the repair to the stairs came out so it completely blended in with the existing work, and the new walkway looks great. We were impressed with how professional and courteous and respectful everyone in the crew was and would love to work with them again in the future.

It was a total success. I have used Murray Masonry for small jobs before - building a concrete perimeter, filling in stone walkways etc. This was a much more complicated job and their work was outstanding. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, on time, always helpful and cheerful! It was a delight to work with them and I will ALWAYS call on them again. They are an A+ in my book.

owner is a smooth talker doesnt deliver what he talks about, he refused to have the Building Inspector to inspect it before payment, so i requested the Building Inspector to inspect it. His work FAILED inspection, he failed to resolve the matter, so we are now in court fighting to get my work completed correctly.

"I would think that your lawyer would have advised you to not post anything publicly that can be used against you in the court of law. Libel is a civil offense that we take seriously. Your comments are false and we have irrefutable proof to the contrary. A person of good conscience does not sign a contract with an honest and reputable company, ask them to perform additional work, admit they do not have the money (and never did) to pay for the project when invoiced, then attack that company for pursuing legal avenues of collection. Despite the turmoil you have unjustly caused me and my firm, and yet still attempt to cause nearly 2 years later, I wish you nothing but the best. It seems to me very few people have done that for you in your life, and perhaps you would be a person of conscience if they had. Thank you for teaching me many valuable lessons I will never forget."

Murray Masonry is an excellent company and a pleasure to deal with. You get no surprises with them and no hidden fees. They come one time, the leave on time, their employees and polite and considerate. Brendan, the owner of the company, is very punctual and responds to your concerns. If there is a problem, his company will address it. Murray Masonry did a great job and we would definitely hire them again.

Murray Masonry did an excellent job and was easy to work with. The crew assigned to the job was extremely professional, did high quality work, and showed up and finished on the time frame agreed. Communication was excellent and the crew even worked around an early season snow storm without allowing it to slow them down. Not the lowest price quote I received but still a fair and reasonable price. You get what you pay for!

The company did an amazing job. Workers were professional and clean. The work was due to wear and tear and bad construction for a property I bought. The restored the wall and saved me a lot of heartache. They came back after work was done and cleaned everything and made sure I had all the paperwork I needed. Very nice people.

Brendan had to work with another contractor to coordinate the retention wall. The wall had to go in first, before the other contractor could do his portion of the project. I received a call from the other contractor regarding how professional Brendan was to work with which made the project much easier to handle. Brendan's crew was very professional they used stones from previous wall that was dismantled the wall looks like it had always been there, which is what I wanted. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Brendan and crew. There was an issue with the cap of wall, I explained it to Brendan within the next day his crew was over here and fix the issue. I will use Murray Masonry when I need additional masonry work in the future.

From the start Brendan was professional and highly knowledgeable. He assessed the condition, provided an estimate, outlined the steps to be taken and a timeframe for completion. Once accepted, the crew arrived on time, confirmed the steps to be taken with me and did a great job. Brendan later came by to ensure the work was completed to specifications. This project went incredibly well. I am extremely happy with the final result of the fireplace. It looks absolutely beautiful and just the way I had envisioned.
