1. They needed to come up the front stairs with the piece due to its size. I asked that they be extra careful because the walls had been restored and painted a month previous (original horse hair plaster). They took 2 chunks out of the wall, and scratched off paint in a couple of other places. I asked for money off and was told they couldn't do that but would send a painter over. I can't take another day off work. I was told I was too stressed out about it, that I got a good price, and it was just a couple of scratches. I'm shocked at this approach to customer service.
2. They installed a different size back splash to the one discussed in the sales conversation. I understand the change was necessary but because they didn't tell me about it until after the installation, I didn't prep the wall behind, and now I can't reach the wall behind and it looks ugly.
Price was good, and granite is good.
