GreenEdge managed a fairly complicated renovation for us
which involved removing walls, replacing beams, basement refinish, kitchen and
bathroom renovations. The company's prices were very competitive and we
appreciated an extra benefit from the fact that *******, one of the principals,
was also a trained architect, was willing to do plans and was creative in his
renovation suggestions. With this winter's weather, the project,including plumbing
and insulation challenges, were significant. However, the Green Edge Team stuck
with us until all the problems were isolated and managed. Courteous, thoughtful
and attentive to detail, we are pleased to recommend GreenEdge for fairness,
skill and excellent work.

I like that they are a small group. They have used the same contractors for a long time so they have a great relationship with them. They are prompt and their cleanup is incredible. They have great communication skills. It's been such a great experience. These guys are really professional and have great ideas.

On the first job, a second major problem was moving the oil line from the floor into the ceiling. Initially it was not feeding, or the pump was too small to draw the oil up and over to the furnace. After three separate attempts the final pump worked correctly. On the second job, the bathroom's old plumbing and the floor joists were not done according to code, so there was quite a bit of repair work to do. They took the room down to the studs, sistered new floor joists to the old ones, re-plumbed the sink, toilet and shower. D and S also installed a washer/dryer in the large bathroom, and put in new shelving. The electrical upgrade to 200 amp service was way overdue since the building has 5 units which had previously only been served by 100 amps. Their work on both jobs went well considering the problems which they encountered. Great job on both!!! I love the new recreation/home office in the 1st place and the tenant was really impressed with the quality of the studio which they renovated.
