ESSEX SEAMLESS GUTTER

Superb service and professionalism. I needed new gutter guards and they were installed in 3 hours at a very reasonable cost. They put my gutters up almost 25 years ago and gutter guards then but the guards needed to be redone. Andy and Doug were great!!!!

Representative came out promptly and gave me reasonable estimate on the spot. I accepted pricing of $430 and work was taken care of within two days. They even replaced bracket on downspout without additional charge. Very pleased with entire process.

Andy, the owner who I dealt with via email, text and phone, was responsive and professional. The seamless gutters and downspouts, not sure about the leaf guards (76 feet), are made onsite. They bring the machines that fabricate the seamless gutters (76 feet) and downspouts (107 feet) to the home. Clean and neat job. All in, to fabricate and install, it took about 3-hours. There were no existing gutters on the house that needed removal. I have no reservation recommending Essex Seamless Gutters.

Andy and his crew were pleasant and professional and the crew took away all the debris. Andy helpfully pointed out some boards that need to be replaced. The work was done quickly and quietly. Highly recommended.

Doug and Andy were great. Came on a Saturday am and we done in a couple hours. Were very punctual when planning the project and the seamless gutter looks great in the back. Very happy with services received. Will definitely use again if I ever need any gutter related work. They even fixed my front gutter (not part of the project) free of charge.

Doug and his crew did a great job of installing a copper gutter and two downspouts on my home. They were prompt , professional, and had attention to detail. It started down pouring out and Doug stood there to make sure the water flowed properly from the down spouts. The quality of the copper, brackets, etc... are very good and they look great. It was a small job for them, so they were able to do it when they had some extra time. I was out one day and I came home and it was done. It looks great and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.

Came back and fixed a few things I wanted changed. Modified a downspout after we put in a stone wall. Did a 2nd pass over for nails in yard and on driveway when asked.
Prompt. Returned my calls quickly. Owner was on site the whole time.

I bought my house 6 months ago, and it was missing a gutter on the rear dormer (about 20ft long.) I found Essex Seamless Gutter on Angie's List. I left them a message, they called me back the same day. I spoke with Andy. He said he'd swing by my house in the next couple of days to provide an estimate. I did not need to be home. He did what he said he would. The price seemed reasonable so I scheduled the job. Since the job was small, he asked if I could be flexible and have him fit the job in between other jobs sometime in the next week. I said that was fine.
About a week later, a whole crew came by. I happened to be home, even though I didn't need to be, so I saw them do the job. They were very fast. I didn't time them, but it seemed like about an hour. The workmen I spoke to were very friendly, but worked as they talked -- very efficient. When the job was done, I looked over the work (quickly) with Andy. It looked fantastic. The gutter matched my other ones and appeared to be of good quality and very solidly attached. He also informed me that he plugged up a wasp's nest that was on the roofline --- a nice bonus.
What surprised me about the experience was how little input was needed from me. It was almost as simple as make a phone call and a new gutter appears a week later --- exactly like you'd want it. I think getting a replacement gutter is like getting your car repaired after an accident --- you want it to be exactly like it was before and repaired right. That doesn't leave many options. The only options it leaves are in the quality. Based on a neighbor's advice, I asked how far they space out their attachment points on the gutter. Apparently some companies rip you off by spacing them too widely and making the gutter weak. Andy said they attach at each rafter, which is the best way to do it. I very quickly stopped asking questions like that, because I got they sense that Essex Seamless Gutter just does things right. They have only one option on the quality of their workmanship and that is high. I got the sense that the only thing that needed deciding was how the gutter routed water to one side or the other, but that is something that they would know better than I, so no choice was needed by me.
All in all, I am very pleased. Andy and the crew were extremely professional and friendly, and the work looks great. I get the sense that they have gutter work down to a science. I couldn't be more pleased with the work, the price is decent, and it was easy --- I spent more time writing this review than it took to get my gutter replaced.

Excellent service. At time of estimate I was advised that their current schedule put them approximately 4 weeks out. Received call roughly 3 1/2 weeks later that they could start. Gutters were formed and cut right on premises. Crew was very professional and had little difficulty reaching a few precarious heights due to uneven landscape and house jut outs. Highly recommend.

On 9/6/2011 I contacted Essex Seamless Gutter to request a visit in order to receive an estimate for approximately 56 linear feet of gutter to be installed on a garage. On 9/7 I was advised that Andy Ferguson (co-owner) would be onsite to provide the requested estimate. Andy spent considerable time describing how he was going to install the gutters and the quality of the materials that would be used. He would install .032 gauge aluminum coil (heavy weight) seamless gutters. Gutters would be made onsite from his mobile unit. They would be attached to the fascia board with screws and a number of bar hangers which would also be screwed into the fascia board. Caulking would be applied the entire length of the gutters at the top to prevent water from getting in between the gutter and the fascia board which would cause drips. Drain spouts would be of .032 gauge aluminum and secured to the gutters with screws.

After receiving the estimate I discussed with Andy what the additional cost to secure 2 loose drain spouts on the main house would be. Even though they both were approximately 25 feet high he stated since he would already have his ladders out and that it would
be a simple fix and would be no cost.

I also explained to Andy that scheduling would have to be flexible since I had a couple of other projects planned that would have to be completed before installing the gutters. He stated that he could be very flexible and work around my schedule.

On 9/23 I called Andy to advise him that I was now available for him to begin his work.

On 9/24 Andy and a co-worker arrived and completed a quality gutter installation quickly and efficiently. Everything regarding the installation process that was discussed on the initial visit was followed exactly. In addition, he attached the 2 drain spouts on the main house as an "extra" for no cost as he had promised. He even went above and beyond this "extra" when he noticed part of the gutter in one area had pulled away from the fascia board a small distance. He installed some screws to reattach it correctly -- again at no cost.

The gutters have now been installed for a few months. I have been 100% happy with their appearance and operation.

I would not hesitate to use this company in the future and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing gutter work.
