Horrible!!!!! Contractor claimed he could permanently eliminate any sinkage of my shed by putting all 4 corners of shed on cement footings. Even though $650 was very high for this work, I agreed b/c he responded quickly and after heavy rains in March, the double doors on the shed were uneven due to shed sinking on one side. I left for work in the morning expecting to return to find the 4 corner cement footings. I came home to find only 3 and all on ONE side. I called him immediately @ 1:30pm the very same day (he was all done by then) and asked why only 3 footings and was it the same price of $650??? He replied "I didn't need footings on the left side because the shed was not sinking on the left side and it was still $650. (I had already written out the check prior to leaving for work that morning). 2 weeks later, the doors returned to the same condition they were in (unoperable) prior to my calling him. I called him back - he came back in a huff, very angry and intimidating - and proclaimed it was NOT his work, but the "cheap" shed I bought. (He builds custom sheds if he can rip you off for 3 times more than what I paid for my beautiful Post Woodworking Shed). He lowered one of the doors to make it operable again so it would open and close. After the snow melted in March of 2010, the 3 cement blobs poured into the ground had risen out of the ground taking the shed with it, resulting in warped, unoperable doors. The exact same condition they were in before I forked over $650 to this deceitful contractor. The cement blobs were not down the 4 ft. he said he poured - they were found to be only 18 inches deep. I filed a documented claim with pictures in Smalls Claims court and was awarded the $650 be returned after the hearing. As a result of my audacity to dare file a claim against Mr. Traversy in small claims court, which was heard in July, 2010. He told me outside the courtroom that he would be going to the building inspectors office to "report" my shed is illegal in that it was not the legal footage away from the property line, and continued his rant that whatever he saw at my house while he was working there that was not code would be reported to the building inspectors office and that "I would rather have him as a friend than an an enemy". He is a bully contractor who does very expensive shoddy work.
