Don’t waste your time with Dave...I understand Dave is busy but he does not return calls in a timely manner...I had to call twice over a two week period before he finally returned my call....He said he would be out sometime next week only to get a call on an unknown number stating he couldn’t find my street....REALLY DAVE?!?!....I live in Peabody where your business is supposedly located....ever hear of GPS??? I called you back for the third time with my address again only to have you blow me off....I hired somebody else thru a local pool company for $200 cheaper and he returned my call the same day....

Dave and his crew did a great job. He had to modify clamps for attaching liner to pool and did a really professional job.

David came out to close our pool. I told him about what our pool looked like and that it was an above ground built into a deck. He came out and told my husband that the pool cover might not fit, since I supposedly didn't say that it was built into a deck. They proceeded to close the pool anyway. We went on vacation and it had rained a lot and the cover ripped. When I called him he told me that I should have known to drain the pool...and that he told us that. Nope. Never did. I told him from the beginning too how we're first time pool and house owners and that we don't know what we're doing. He then said he would come out with another cover that we had to pay for. When I told him that I didn't think we should have to pay for the liner and or the work that he's doing since he should have done it right the first time...I never heard back from him.

Dave and the crew  came back the next day removed 24 inch round in an hour removed all the pool and its debris.Next  went over  some landscape issues we had in place from old pool,  again help me to make informed decision . I purchased  new pool a tad deeper and a tad smaller not at his desire but ours as we were not willing to make some of the landscape changes. we set  tentative date for new install and of course it  rained  and the area flooded after we drained that and let it  dry out, Dave called with  great news he was going to put my pool in ahead of schedule ..I was so happy as i like my pool open early for a warm up period .
 Dave arrived right on time with his crew and all the equipment for the install  walked me through each step as the pool was installed from the sand level to the caps . Dave will  most certainly be coming back to close our pool for the fall , as he was a true professional . I would recommend him to others  and to other remember HE is the pool guy not you  !! very happy with his                    worked and again would  recommend him to others ...Thanks Dave we love our new pool...Sharon and Randy

Dave is prompt in returning calls and very punctual. He is extremely knowledgable as he was able to handle complications with the deck surrounding the pool, with expertise. Although I hope to never need his services again - I would not even consider calling anyone but Dave!

Dave was great, he showed up when he said he was going to both times to review the site and install the pool. His crew was very nice and overall did a nice job. A few of the details of the job were missed. I felt as though the liner should have been trimmed on the outside of the pool to be even all the way around and once the pool was filled the return shot the water straight up in the air.
A few little issues but overall they did a nice job.

We are in the process. He just gave us a quote. He is going to start in the next few days. He gave us a quote two weeks ago. He was professional. He wrote up everything. He gave a detailed quote. He came out and measured. He was thorough. I already have a good reference about him from a pool company. We are waiting for a part. Then he will start work.

Wow Dave is a real character! He loves to talk while he works and has a funny give and take with his crew. He is a music buff and loves to talk about different types of music.
He works 7 days a week and is available to take calls any time. (but returns messages only after the work day is done)
In talking with him during the install I learned that he is always up for a challenge. He is the guy that is not afraid of the pool install that is tough or out of the ordinary. My site was not particularly difficult, but he told me that the oval shaped pools are a little harder to install and a lot of companies really just want to do round ones becuase they are the easy installs. Perhaps that is why nobody else returned my calls. . . but Dave did!
His workmanship is nothing less than stellar; he showed up on time (his crew actually a few minutes early!) and he took a lot of time to make sure the site was prepared extremely well. Level, sand, flattened and tamped, and THEN he took over an hour with a real surveyor's transit to make sure every single post was perfectly at the same level within 1/8 of an inch. This is incredible workmanship and I was really impressed.
Once the sitework was done, he had me approve the exact location of the pool to be 100% sure I was getting it where i wanted. Once again, very impressive, CARING work done by a guy that really loves what he does. He is a real asset to have as a professional consult for any pool problem you have.
They were in and out in one day, Dave was very thorough to educate me on how to take care of my new pool for the best long term success of the pool.
Awesome job by Dave's Above Ground Pools in PEABODY MA. I own my own business in the Boston area and I had never met Dave before this experience. I wish all contractors were as good as this company!
One more thing; if you are having a pool installed, do something nice and have a case of cold water and maybe a bag of ice to keep these guys hydrated while they work their hearts out for you!
