Two years ago I called Aspen to get a quote for a new roof and gutters. No response. I also emailed them. Again no response. Last month I called them again. Not surprisingly, no return call. I give up.

They were responsive and did an excellent job. It was in the price range that they promised.

They arrived when they said they would, did their job, cleaned up and were gone before they said they would be. Very professional, respectable and informative. Would definitely use them again.

A very reasonable (competitive) estimate was provided along with insurance documentation within a day of coming out to look at the roof. At that point, David's team was booked a few weeks out (which from understanding is pretty standard). Because we had an active leak, we ultimately went with another company who was able to fit us in sooner. We're going to need to get a new roof on our garage and sunroom in the near future and I plan on giving David a call when the time comes to start those projects.

I can wholeheartedly recommend David Benson and Aspen Roofing. Extremely professional from the top down. There is not another roofing company I would consider after my experiences with Aspen.

Very professional. Estimate was accurate. Work was completed ahead of schedule. Did excellent job cleaning up the site. All work was completed per contacted specifications. Extremely responsive to original request for estimate. Worked with us to get a price point we were comfortable with.

Excellent experience. With a small job it can be difficult to get cooperation from contractors and tradesmen but not the case with Aspen Roofing. They were prompt and professional and remedied my issue very quickly. I couldn't have asked for me - they certainly will get strong consideration for all my roofing needs in the future. I highly recommend them.

I had a good experience with them. They know what they are doing. They do commercial work and flat roofs which can be really large or small repairs for residential clients. They do a decent job and their prices are always really good.

George was prompt to schedule an estimate. He knew his stuff, and although he was skeptical of the value of a metal roof on my garage, he quoted me one anyway. I looked at both the asphalt shingles quote and the metal roof quote, and decided to go with asphalt shingles. It took about 8 weeks to get my project started, but when the time came the crew arrived at 7am the first day, got 85% of the job done the first day, and finished by noon the second day. The job they did was top-notch. The exterior of the garage was left in great shape. I haven't found too many nails/debris around and they did a great job of cleaning up all the way around the structure. The interior was more full of granules and nails, but the garage was due for a cleaning anyway, and they didn't have as good of access to the interior. The result of the re-roofing was spectacular. Everything looks fantastic, the roof doesn't leak at all anymore, and I couldn't have asked for more out of their workmanship. The flashing looks extremely professionally installed along the edges, all the ridges and caps look great and the rubber membrane looks great as well. They were the high bid on the project, but I believe that you get what you pay for. Also there were no hidden costs, no extra fees, no overages on the project. We agreed to one price in the bid, and that was exactly what we paid. There's no telling what the other bidders may have added after we started the job. We love our new garage roof.

I had used them before, and they came back out to do service again for me. The work was complex. They were great. The previous work was worth about $9000, and this one was another $5000 worth of work. I would really rate them very highly.

Three out of four projects have been completed. David kept me apprised of progress and was careful to explain exactly what was being done. All work completed has been of exceptionally high quality. The three projects were completed the day before Hurricane Irene came East bringing high winds and at least 6 inches of rain. While the storm uprooted trees, I'm happy to report there were no leaks in the areas of the roof that Aspen repaired. I look forward to the completion of the final project and would certainly call on Aspen for any future roofing needs.

George Van Hillo provided a timely and accurate estimate for the work to be performed. He and his crew were punctual. I would have given a better rating, but I later found some damage to a bush outside the window and roofing nails in the yard. Overall, a very professional experience and I would use this company again, as the roof on my house will need to be replaced in a few years.

Aspen Roofing was the low bidder of two roofing contractors we contacted, both of whom came recommended by friends. David Benson, the owner, made a very professional presentation and helped us decide which type of roofing to install. His bid was substantially below the bid of the other company. He started the work within two days of the target start date (weather was a problem) and his experienced team stayed with it until it was done, despite several interruptions caused by the weather. They found quite a bit of rotted wood along the roof edges that needed repair, which they replaced for a fair "time and materials" charge. The installation was done neatly, and the new roof really looks terrific. His team members were highly skilled and very polite. There were no boom boxes or other music while the job was done, for which I was grateful (we live in close proximity to our neighbors). Roofing is an inherently dirty business when old shingles are removed. The team cleaned up after each day and at the end of the work. At our final meeting with David Benson, we pointed out two minor "nits", and he personally took care of these items to our satisfaction on the spot. Bottom line: We were very satisfied with the job they did and would not hesitate to use them again.
