Called for the service request to repair Fisher & Paykel
top-loaded dryer that had no power. Scheduling was fine. After
calling Fisher & Paykel, the repair technician (Dan) gave diagnosis of
broken circuit board, then a new one was ordered. A week later, Dan came
to install the new circuit board, he showed no familiarity with the procedure,
very puzzled. Eventually, the old one was swapped out, but it didn't
work, still had no power (the power source/outlet was normal after
checking). Dan tried few other things and called Fisher & Paykel,
nothing worked. The new circuit board was returned, and the problem was
not fixed. I replaced the dryer with a different brand.
