Gromada Electric

Jeff did a superb job of replacing and installing a new smart wifi thermostat at my house. This required locating and attaching a low voltage C-wire for constant current from the air handler in the basement to the thermostat on the first floor. It also required checking the settings for the air conditioner and heating from the oil burner. The new thermostat has been working flawlessly From the moment I contacted Jeff he was always accessible. He arrived on time and finished the job sooner than expected Jeff is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. I would highly recommend Jeff and would certainly hire him for future projects.

We had used the services of Jeff before and knew the caliber of work he performed. We placed a call early one morning and left word on Jeff's answering service. We quickly received a reply- wherein we discussed the problem, and set a date and time for the appointment. Jeff arrived on time, knew the likelihood of the problem, but tried various tests to insure the problem was as he suspected. He showed us the steps he went through and recommended a solution. In addition, since this is a 60 year old home, and several modifications have been made over the years, we needed to have the electrical circuits throughout the home identified. Jeff patiently went through every room on all three floors and identified each circuit and then labeled them on the three electrical panels. We also had a problem with our outdoor lighting system. Jeff found the system was triggered by a photosensor, which automatically comes on at dark and turns off at daylight. Jeff diagnosed the problem, fixed it and tested it to see that it operated properly. I highly recommend Jeff Gromada for any electrical work- regardless odf the complexity or the scope of the task.

I wasn't too happy with them. They came out, took a look at what I wanted them to do and did a little bit of work but didn't do what I'd originally hired them for. Scheduling and him showing up was not a problem but he didn't provide the service I was looking for.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was very good. They were very responsive and I was satisfied with their service. I had the service done about a week after I purchased the Big Deal. I really liked the fact that they were on time. I did not find anything that was unpleasant about their performance and work at my location. I have no complaints. Their price was reasonable for what is going on in the market right now and in relation to the services they provided.

Jeff answered our questions, described options and made recommendations when asked. He worked over the weekend; arrived on time; completed the job ahead of schedule and within the cost estimate he gave us for the work. Looking closely one recognizes an excellent end product. All phone lines and relevant wiring are neatly labeled and the work is clean and neat. Jeff is a true professional: who I would recommend without reservation.

They did a fabulous job. He is a small company and he used to work in a small building years ago before he was licensed. And then he got his license and for what I understand, he's never even did a bit of advertising the whole time he has been in business because people just refer him. His price is incredibly fair. He told me what to buy at Home Depot. I bought it and he came in and installed it. He does a lot of work with a lot of people in my building and they are very happy with him.

One assumes that tradespeople offer the Deals because they are trying to drum up business, but one hopes that the purchaser will have the choice of whether to purchase additional work from them. We were disappointed that this electrician did more work than was covered by the Deal and billed us at a very high hourly rate for the surplus. I wish he would have given us an estimate of what the additional work would be, so that we would have had a choice whether or not to hire him for it. (in fact, we have since found an electrician with a much lower hourly rate.)

Jeff was thorough, efficient, and very professional.

He was not only on time, he was even a bit early. We'd scheduled for a Saturday, as he is in Norwood and I'm in Marlborough, so he had quite a distance to cover. He got things done promptly and the quality of the work was very good. I'd use him again. It took a while to catch up with him initially. I gather that he'd gotten a lot of business via his Angie's List offer, and he got a bit overloaded, but once I did reach him, he was very agreeable and I had little trouble scheduling a visit.

The guy was on time, explained things in detail, was polite to work with, and the work was done well. I enjoyed the services.

Jeff was very responsive and was upfront and cost and options. He solved a problem that abigger, more expensive electrical companny never solved!

I had booked him and he rescheduled several times since last fall for various reasons. I called him earlier this year and let him know that my deal would be expiring in March. He said that he would still honor the deal. So, we made an appointment. Last Friday, I was waiting for him and he never showed up. I called him and he told me that he thought it was for next week. I elected at that point to get a refund for my deal.

I think very highly of Jeff Gromada. My wife and I have used him for virtually all of our electrical work in the past year, ever since he was highly recommended to me. Every time he does top quality work at very fair prices. I will continue to use him for any work that comes up in the future and to recommend him to anyone in need of a good, honest electrician.

A++ work. Jeff's work is very professional, his prices are extremely affordable, and he is one of the most honest contractor's I've ever hired. While installing grounding rods outside today he found a watch --my wife had lost it a few months ago. When Jeff gave me the watch and asked if my wife had lost it, and I said I didn't know, he said that it was ours to keep anyways because he found it on our property. Reminds me of the very first time I hired him, when we first moved into this house, and he found an envelope with cash in it (left behind by previous owners)--and he gave it to me. I trust him and his work and would recommend him to anyone.

Jeff was very thorough with his quote and provided multiple options for the particular scenario we chose. He was punctual and finished the project on-time. I would recommend his services again.

I can't say enough good things about Jeff. Found him through Angie's List, and he responded to my inquiry on the very same day, came out on a weekend, and was friendly and professional during his visit. He even took the time to explain why the ceiling light malfunctioned. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Service was prompt, professional and friendly. Went out of his way to set up the outlet by providing a base to have Verizon hookup.

I purchased 2 hours of service through an Angie's List special promotion. Jeff ended up coming out on a Sunday, which was GREAT for us. He was very professional, and knew what he was doing. He was able to come up with some creative solutions to a few problems we were having. I will definitely be using him again.

Mr. Gramado was peasant and professional from the outset; made an appointment to see us and gave us an estimate on the outside outlet and also an additional job which we decided against. We then experienced the demise of our microwavve and arranged for Jeff to install its replacement and do the outlet when the microwave was delivered. He and his co-worker came earlier than promised, worked efficiently and interacted pleasantly. Mission accomplished. The angie's deal was a wonderful experience and we'll have no problem recommending Mr Gramado or Angie's List.

It went great. The results were better than we could have imagined (wish we had done this sooner) Jeff was professional and meticulous we couldn't be happier!

Jeff did terrific work. He advised me before he came what fixture to buy and have ready when he arrived. He was efficient and generous with his time. We had paid for 2 hours of service, and he spent nearly 3, without any extra charge. We had a little trouble setting up the appointment. I had to reschedule once, he had to reschedule once, but in the end we were very pleased with the work.

They do a lot of work on condo. All the people that have been here a long time use them. The condo used another company in my place for electrical work and they were grossly overpriced. One of the few people who live here recommended Jeff Gromada to me. He gave me a price that was half of what the other company gave me and he did a fabulous job. I spent $600 on that service and the other electrical company would have charged me $1200. He has done so much work for me and he came for one thing on a heat pump, which he knows how to fix because he used work in these buildings years ago long before I was here. He came at about 5:30 on a real cold night when my heat pump had a power failure and it stopped it from working. Whatever he did, he did it quickly and got it working and would not charge me. He said that I have given him so many recommendations that he owed it to me. He is top-notch and I have recommended him to at least 10 people and one of them is my brother who is the most difficult person. I hesitate to even give him one because I would always get feedback about them, but he not only liked them but had him do work in his home and business. He is an extremely good electrician.

I purchased two hours of electrical service via an Angie's List Big Deal. I contacted Jeff Gromada that day, and within a week we set a date for him to come out and have a look at the job. I needed one or two outlets installed in my cellar for sump pumps. He called me two days before our scheduled appointment, saying that he was in the neighborhood, and asked if he could stop by and check out the job. He did come by, and did the entire job the same day (it was a Sunday). Jeff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and came up with a creative solution to some problems that arose. He really impressed me with his punctuality and professionalism, and I'm sure to call him down the road for additional work!

I was very pleased with the service from Gromada Electric. I needed four exterior light fixtures installed. He came out the day I called, arrived on time, worked efficiently and did an excellent job. He was pleasant and professional and charged a really reasonable fee. I am already getting estimates for additional work. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent, fast, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I will use Jeff again.
