This was my third project with Diorio. It was a fairly short window over two weeks with a wide variety and scope. They completed the work efficiently and professionally.

The crew was great allied craftsman with the brick work they did. They were prompt, professional, and immaculate in clean up after.

Diorio Builders did an amazing job for me replacing a 40 year old deck. The workmanship is excellent and the price was reasonable. I'd also like to mention that their work habits are stellar - at the end of each day they did a thorough cleanup with no stray nails left where they would be a hazard to my pets. I would highly recommend them

Derek was quick to respond and jump on remodeling our bathroom before officially moving in. As project continued he kept us up to date and pointed out issues with existing structure around floor and window. Within few months the bathroom remodel was complete. Bathroom is beautiful and James did great work on tile/shower area.

DiOrio Builders & Designers have done an amazing job transforming our 1890s colonial home. Derek and James from DiOrio are great to work with, their prices are fair, and their quality is top-notch. Over the last several years, one project at a time, they refurbished 3 floors of our living space with hardwood and tile flooring, top-to-bottom painting, rebuilt the front porch, repointed the basement/foundation, and renovated our kitchen and half-bathroom. Most recently, DiOrio completed a 2nd floor full-bath reno with some intricate tiling and custom in-wall shelving and we are so delighted with how gorgeous it came out! Just as we have come to expect, they were exceptionally respectful of our home, extremely accommodating of our pets, and always left our property clean and tidy at the end of each workday. We love our new bathroom and are so appreciative of DiOrio’s partnership in making it happen. I simply cannot recommend DiOrio Builders & Designers highly enough.

This was our second major project with DiOrio Builders in the past 3 years. We are very happy with the way that both projects turned out. The most recent project was a garage conversion into a four season family space. James was the primary on all work. The craftsmanship was solid and the finish work was beautifully done, which was important because of the detail and hardwood used in the space.

We had DiOrio finish most of our basement over the summer of 2021. They did a lot of work for us, advising us on the design, putting in a French drain, working with subcontractors etc to help arrange for plumbing, HVAC, etc. We worked mostly with James - he was super professional, productive, and we're very satisfied with our results.

We had an emergency at work. Our walk in cooler had been damaged by a massive, hidden roof leak. The DiOrio crew worked around the clock to completely rebuild it. They finished just in time before Christmas to allow us to keep operating. The finished product was and will be excellent for years to come. As much to my employees, I owe the DiOrio crew my thanks.

Derek, James and team were pros. They gave us a fair price and delivered on the project. Derek gave us timely updates as things progressed. The team was friendly and professional. Clean up was immaculate.

I needed a roof repair asap per order of the health department . I hired DiOrio to do the work after another company failed to fix it properly. James and Derek dropped everything and finished the repair in one day. The price was reasonable and the work was excellent. Not a drop of water has leaked in and today we passed inspection. I can’t thank them enough.

DiOrio Builders & Designers has been excellent to work with on several projects around our 1890s colonial home in Boston. Over the last few years, they have painted the interior of our house, installed hardwood flooring, rebuilt our front porch, installed French drains in the back, reinforced and repointed our granite foundation, rebuilt our kitchen floor and tiled it, and installed numerous lights and a range hood. The quality of work is top-notch and they were great to work with. Pricing was fair, communication was professional and timelines were met. I recommend them to all my friends.

James and Derek are low drama and deliver on quality and price. I am looking forward to future projects with them.

DiOrio B+D did a great job remodeling my kitchen: Seamlessly installed granite counter, sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher, high quality cabinets, Pergo laminate flooring, and electrical upgrades. Their offer was very reasonable. Derek + James are skilled artisans with years of experience. They both are diligent (nearly obsessive) about the quality of their work. If you seek a fast hack job that will fall apart in a year, they are not for you. They consistently stayed in touch with me throughout the project re. progress. They always want the best for the customer . I couldn't be more satisfied.

It started off good. They came, looked at it, gave me an estimate, and they started their work. Once they got into it more, they found some more issues, and they quoted a price. They started to work on it, we paid in full for the additional work. Work progress slowly. And about three days ago, they told me that they need another payment. We told them no because we had paid for the additional work to be done and it hasn't been completed according to the additional contract. I got some text messages from them today, after speaking with them about this. And they explained that they had done additional work that they wouldn't charge us for. When we did not give the extra payment that they wanted to today, the text messages turned into telling me that they were going to take us to court. We had to get another contractor that is going to finish the work. They wanted to finish the project but we said no. I would just recommend nobody would hire this company because they start their work and the work was half way completed and then they ask for more money.

My bathroom remodel is in it's final phases. I needed my Masterbath completely remodeled and I contacted DiOrio Builders and Designers. My initial contact was with the owner, Derek, but my day to day was with James Kim, Project Manager. My large bath was from 1992 and it had to be completely gutted. I wanted a "Spa like" bath. James was wonderful to work with. His knowledge of design and construction was amazing as was his attention to detail and people skills! The team used to deconstruct my bath was great and very professional and clean. Everything has come out just right and I love my new bath. I certainly would recommend DiOrio for all my remodeling needs.

They do great tile and flooring work.

Derek and James were great to work with. My garage was in rough shape, the sills were rotting out the foundation and I was worried about the structural integrity of my garage. They responded quickly and got to work right away. I really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend to others!

We are very pleased with the results. Diorio Builders and Designers have been a great company to do business with. Derrick and James were exceptionally professional through the whole process. I would definitely hire them again.

Great job. James is excellent, very responsive, answered all my questions, kept me up to date on the schedule, very kind and smart and returned all of my phone calls. The guys were careful w my backyard plants, nice to be around and cleaned up every day. Very easy to work with- This company is top-notch; they know how to do the work by code and correctly. They don't cut corners and they are very capable.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the continuing work done by Diorio Builders. All negotiations with them are fair and transparent. They have years of expertise in multiple areas of construction and can speak to you either in "construction " lingo or dumbed down common speak. Their finished product is superb and their focus is clearly on providing customer satisfaction. All my inquiries have been responded to timely and their design background was invaluable in the complete gut of my 1st floor bathroom. They are resourceful quick thinkers who can resolve all unforseen issues that arise. For example, when they were demo-ing the bathroom floor they removed 3 layers of old vinyl flooring only to find joists that had disconnected from the foundation. Rather than taking a shortcut by just laying down a new 4th floor, they reconnected the joists to the foundation and installed a buttress support system in the basement underneath. They could have charged me alot more for doing this but the cost was minimal bcuz they are intent upon providing the best product possible to the customer. Diorio B+C has also established very efficient relationships with a team of plumbers, electricians, masons, and HVAC professionals who coordinate superbly with them. I receive weekly texts from them with a schedule of arrival/start times for various projects. After the workday they spend time vacuuming and cleaning the worksite thoroughly. Also very impressive is the confidence and pride that they exude in doing their work.

Derek and James were a pleasure to work with. There was great communication throughout all the construction phases. When roadblocks came up in a large project like they always do, they were quick to offer alternatives. This company prides itself on quality craftmanship and it shows in their work. Another aspect that was greatly appreciated was their cleanliness and professionalism. At the end of each day they spent the time to tidy up and organize their materials. There were also a good group of workers that were friendly and respectful which is great when you have people working in your house for an extended period. I highly recommend this company.

Well planned, timely, professional and meticulous

We completed a bathroom remodel. Complete Demo down to studs. Team was polite, respectful, and efficient. Laid out a comprehensive plan in advance for each step of the project. One of the biggest positives was the prep and cleanliness. Very good eye for details from painting to tiles....Overall very pleased with the entire process.

The work was of the highest quality. All the old trim, clapboards that needed replacing and any other debris were removed daily from the site. The owner and crew explained to me what was happening and why. Our house is old, so there were unanticipated issues after the trim was removed. We received a thorough explanation about what additional work needed to be done. I have many relatives who work in the trades, and I recognize the superior craftsmanship and skill of this crew and owner. We are confident we won't have to worry about any exterior issues for many years, other than freshening up our lovely exterior paint! We now have one of the most attractive houses on the block.
