They first worked on the box in the basement which is all circuit breakers and fixed the ones that were not working. Which had caused all the electronic all the front of the house in the living room not too work. Then they worked on the livingroom. Then they also put in my new electric doorbell and programed it. Taking their time to everything perfectly. They also are very reasonable in cost.

They service ws excellent. They were very good and the price was very good.

I arranged an appointment with Tracy at Castle. The electrician, Joe, was prompt, friendly and professional. He fixed the problem and offered some good advice. I'll certainly call Castle again if I need any new electrical work done.

I am pleased with Castle. They were the last of 4 to respond to my Angie's List request. Their quote was the most detailed of the 4 and it was right in line with two others (the 4th quote was much higher). They were booking 2-3 weeks out. They told me it would take 6 days, which is what it took. The detailed quote was helpful because it let us choose certain items to do now and certain items to put off. It also made it clear when new issues were identified that they were out of scope (we have an old house, I knew that the electrical system was bound to be "unorthodox" in places). The electrician and his helper were very friendly and professional, explaining things as they went. I will definitely hire them again.

excellent installation -- removed old fixture and installed new one -- total job took less than 10 minutes. Experienced technician. All that is outstanding. However, the charge was totally unexpected -- $165 for this simple, straight-forward, and 8-minute job. I live in Dedham so the drive from Norwood is about 15 minutes. I OUGHT TO HAVE inquired when I made the appointment (got the company information from a neighbor) what their minimum charge is but I did not. MY MISTAKE! I am 78 yrs old and living on a fixed income. NO WAY was this job worth $165...NO WAY. I surely learned a lesson...

Castle Electric returned my initial call quickly, were immediately responsive and able to come out that day or the next to assess the problem, and came back to fix it quickly. Would definitely hire again.

Easy to set up an appointment. They worked around my work schedule. Confirmed multiple times the time they would arrive. Arrived on time and quickly fixed my issues and cleaned up after themselves. Walked through some options for me if I wanted to do a bigger project. Great experience. Will be having them back to do some cosmetic changes!

The two man crew was on time and went through the work list with me. They were efficient and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner and neatly done. I would definitely hire them again!

I have had various electricians complete several home projects over the years, and decided to use a local company. My son phoned Castle Electric and scheduled an appointment for the very same week. Two electricians arrived on time on the scheduled day, also having texted in advance that they were on their way. This doorbell installation was not an easy job. The doorbell I had purchased did not work. They installed a new one that they had on the truck. The holes in my wall that they needed to make were done carefully and neatly cleaned. Everything was perfect and the price was more than fair.

Castle Electric sent 3 people to examine my electrical box in my basement, including one very experienced person. They were able to determine my electrical box had been installed incorrectly and lacked a cover component at the top and hence was getting condensation. I'm writing this review 8 months later and I have had no problems since!

The Castle Elec. team were friendly, gave full information even before being asked, and if needed asked permission to make some adjustments in order for a fixture to be well placed. A faulty outdoor light fixture caused that project to be abandoned but they covered the hole with a waterproof cap. At the end of this project I asked them to look at another part of the house where I might do the same thing. Of the several service providers who initially responded to my quote request, they were the ONLY one to actually come to my home to see what I was requesting.before sending a quote. I strongly recommend them!

Outstanding. Mike and Tim were very professional and thorough with their workmanship. Mike was great communicating and listening to our questions right from the get-go. He was extremely patient and easy to work with! We appreciated that they were both gentlemen as we have two young kids. We would highly recommend them for any electrical work you might need!

Everything went smoothly. They arrived on time and were professional and polite. They did the job agreed upon. I was very happy with their service and would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I had been putting off replacing my light fixtures, but they were old and looked really dated. Castle Electric got back to me quickly after I contacted them via Angie's List and we set up an appointment for someone to come take a look. They knew exactly what I wanted, and made several very good suggestions. They provided the recessed lighting for the kitchen, and I purchased the hanging light fixture and the two hallway ceiling fixtures. I love how everything is done electronically: I got a preliminary quote via email, signed it electronically, and they contacted me by phone to set up an appointment. They were prompt, courteous, and highly professional. It took one day for the recessed lighting and part of a second day to install the other fixtures--exactly how long they told me it would be. They cleaned up after themselves, and, at my request, installed dimmer switches on all the new lights. I really couldn't be more pleased with the way everything looks and with how great Castle Electric is to work with.

Everything went great. What we liked about Castle was there is someone to answer your phone call and make an appointment. They confirm it with an email and send a follow up email to confirm the appointment. They know how to run a business and they let you know what their rates are in advance. We would definitely do business with Castle Electric again.

Excellent work. Offered a couple of suggestions that wound up saving me money. Office staff very helpful also. I had an emergency need for them a week or so later and was initially told that they were booked two weeks out. Somehow they were able to free someone up a few days later. Very pleased with the entire organization.

We upgraded our service from 100 amps to 200 amps and installed some new 3 way switches along with some other minor things. Jim Jr. came to give us a quote and was very thorough and knowledgeable about everything we wanted done. Pete and Cody performed the work and were very professional. They were on time each day and answered all the (probably annoying) questions I asked while they were performing the work. Would recommend and will call again if we need more work!

Jim punctually arrived and was very cordial and professional, and immediately checked both the electric panel and the meter box. After showing me the possible issues in the box, he repaired the items. No parts were required. The flickering was not observed after the fix. Jim advised me to call him back if the problem persisted (advising me as to the next steps required to resolve the issue should a subsequent service be required). Jim performed the work at my house for just shy of an hour and charged his minimum fee of one hour. After completing the work, Jim answered my other questions pertaining to my home's electricity. Jim worked efficiently and explained the issue and repair in layman's terminology, giving me great confidence in the accuracy of the work performed.

Excellent electrician, very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. He showed up on time and was very professional. Very reasonable price. Great all around.

From start to finish it went extremely well. The company is very professional, promptly scheduling an appointment for an estimate, providing the estimate within 24 hours, and performing the work within a week. This will be my new company for any electrical jobs I have.

Castle electrician was on time, friendly and courteous! He added circuits and we had him install new LED lighting in the ceiling as well as under our cabinets in the kitchen. We also had them hardwire in new smoke and CO2 detectors on all three floors of the house. We would definitely hire them again!!
