BOSTON FABRICATION

There was an issue with installation and they never got back to me with details even though that was promised every day for a week when I called them daily for the information. Their templater told my tile guy it was ok to install the backsplash "just leave us some room" and the tile guy snapped the line while the templater was in the house. Boston fab tried to say that was the main reason they couldn't install. They are awful, unprofessional, unresponsive, and I would never ever use them again. They have cost me thousands of dollars and refuse to do even the most basic thing: the job they were paid thousands to do. I have tried to work with them in good faith and they wont even call me back

Boston Fabricators was incredibly easy to work with regarding all aspects of my granite purchase from selection, to edging design, template and they even have you come to their facility to see how you want to lay out the design on your counter tops. I worked with Darlene Gaulin and she was always very professional and courteous, even with all of my phone calls and questions. I would definitely recommend them!

We had a lousy experience working with Boston Fabrication (in Attleboro.) We believe our stone arrived stained and it quickly picked up a number of other stains. A service call took care of most but not all of the stains. Worse than the quality of the stone was the customer service. We were never allowed to speak to a manager and promises from the staff to follow up with us were either delayed or not kept. There seemed to be a sloppiness in the details. Silicone caulk was used during the installation which made it hard to paint the wall abutting the counter; we were told to shut off our water supply to the kitchen sink but not told to unhook everything (necessitating an emergency call to our plumber when the installers arrived and said they couldn't get started until it was done), and so forth. We will not hire this company again, nor will we recommend them to others.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS REVIEW REFERS TO BOSTON FABRICATION, FRANKLIN R. MCKAY ROAD IN ATTLEBORO, MASSACHUSETTS, NOT NORWOOD. If there is a grade below F, they deserve it. MD Cabinets in Raynham recommended them, why, I do not know. They cut my countertops wrong not once, but TWICE, using their own template that they themselves came and measured. They never apologized. The manager never contacted me after the first botching. They never offered to refund even a portion of their payment. After the second wrong cutting, the manager came to my house with my contractor. He never said hello. He never apologized. He stood there and drew a new template, which he shoved it at me and said, "Does this look right?" It was the SAME MEASUREMENTS as their own original template, which they got wrong TWICE. They are class-A incompetent jerks. Do NOT use them! They delayed my kitchen by five weeks - more than a month!

I would never use this company again. They made the sloppiest cuts on our trim and wrecked it, one slab that was installed is too short, and they didn't tell me until after the install that our sink was going to be on back order and wouldn't be installed for over a week. I was never offered an apology or money back for the trim, or plumber I had to cancel since they didn't tell me that the sink wasn't going to be installed with my countertops. Very unprofessional and not worth working with.

We were referred to Boston Fabrications from a company who were restoring our kitchen cabinets. He took the measurements of our countertops and called the next day with the quote from Boston Fabrications. It took a couple of times to get calls back from the Boston Fabrication office staff but it worked out. The staff was very helpful in picking out a particular granite and let us take several samples home. The gentleman who came in and laser-measured our counters was very professional and courteous. The install itself was quick and easy with no problems. Love my new countertops!

Price was higher than I expected and higher than comparable vendors. Work was a good quality but the stone selected for me was not matched up well in terms of color. No follow up or satisfaction calls initiated. Quality of the stone was good and I like the look of the counter in spite of this. Skill of workmen was excellent. What was missing was contact with vendor and discussion. Done quickly for maximum profit seemed to be the thing they were most interested in.
So, my review is mixed.......I am not unhappy with my counter, but I think I paid top dollar and the customer service aspect of things could have been better.

and made no mess. I was really impressed and would highly recommend
Boston Fabrication - they know their products and are excellent
installers. The only issue I had was with scheduling - someone in their
office messed up on the initial installation date.

Very pleased with quality of work. When we installed refrigerator it was a very tight fit. They came back and recut/ground an edge in a timely efficient manner. Would recommend them based on this experience.

The installation went very smoothly. I had removed the old countertop and had moved the stove and the refrigerator out of the way, so that they had easy access to the area. The faucet had been removed and was to be reused. A clear pathway to the kitchen was cleared so that the technicians had a clear way to bring in the new countertops. All the bottom cabinets had been emptied, and all the draws had been removed. We were available to answer questions as the installation proceeded.

Overall the job related to the realignment was excellent. Upon my request, the workman caulked the back edge where the counter meets the backsplash. Caulking is not their forte, but it provided temporary protection against water damage until I can find another service to do that job well. Their clean-up afterwards was good.

Boston Fabrication performed an excellent job from start to finish. they worked hand in hand with another company kitchen tuneup. The job took two visits. The first was the measuring and of countertop and shelving. The second visit was the installation. The 2 installers were very professional and knew what they were doing. The shelves came with the wrong measurements but they corrected the problem at my house. Everything took about 4 hours from start to finish which was great. They were very clean too.

They did all of the measuring and the installation, which was why I chose them. I didn't want anything to be messed up in terms of measurements or communications. They are a one stop shop and they do a fabulous job. They were very responsive as well. I had no problem with them what so ever.
