I'm not sure why this company has received so many good reviews my experience was not the greatest. I called to schedule service to my HVAC. Appointment was over a month away but they gave me a morning time frame and I was told they would call the day before to confirm the time. they did not call and did not show up during the time frame. I called them and was told it would be sometime in the afternoon. The service was done in a very rushed manner and I was told I would receive in writing the recommendations for some part replacements. I did not receive a bill for 3 months. I called regarding the recommendations for the part replacements and was told they would call me back. They did not. I called again. I was told they would have to look further into it and would call me back. Needless to say I have not heard back from them

I'm only buying oil from them, I'm not using them to service our furnace. They're very responsive and professional.

technician came right away and fixed it at no additional charge (cleaning service includes maintenance of parts and labor for the season)

The worker was on time and performed the service in about 90 minutes.  He was cordial and professional.

Advanced Energy is great - we have an old house with recurrent problems and they always come immediately when we call, day or night.  Professional, courteous, fast, reliable.  A+ company!

We were customers for a long time and needed a comprehensive eval of HVAC.  They were, "too busy" to bother to come or to commit to a time to look at our system.  We went to other A rated local company and are replacing our boiler and AC!

Advanced Energy were on time, and called me beforehand to let me know they were on the way. They came to inspect the oil tank prior to my beginning a new oil delivery contract with them. They were quick and courteous. Their oil deliveries have always been before I need them.

Incorrect diagnosis . Very expensive solution . |It was a simple matter which was fixed by another company for fraction of the cost. I have decided not to get oil from them either.

Having never owned a house with heating oil before, I was surprised to notice that my tank was almost empty a couple of months after moving in.  I called Advanced Energy mid-afternoon on a Friday and explained the situation, and they agreed to send out a truck the next day despite already having a full schedule of deliveries.  The person that I spoke to (Christine) was very friendly and helpful and the delivery guys were great too.  Very good experience all around.

After my gas service was upgraded in April my furnace wouldn't start. The utility company suggested I use my HVAC vendor to get it fixed. They came and told me it was a supply issue. The utility returned and double checked supply and said it was a furnace issue. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. To get a second opinion, I then called around to a number of other HVAC providers who all turned down the job. I found Advanced Energy through a HVAC distributor. They showed up, did trouble shooting of the whole furnace and tracked down the (simple) problem and sorted it out. They really helped me out of a frustrating a chilly situation.

They were really exceptional. They probably should have charged more for what they did.  They were very prompt and they were great.

This job was for my church. We were looking to replace a 600,000 BTU (very large commercial system) system from oil and
install a high efficient direct vented gas system. We had a lot of contractors out trying to get a good price and also make sure we were going to choose the right equipment. Most of the contractors were really inconsistent, which made it very difficult to decide who was making the right recommendation. There were a total of two contractors out of probably six (I went a bit overboard) that took the time to measure the size and length of the whole system (heaters, baseboard and all heating elements.) I knew these two were the best because it took the most time and they also came in with different sized units, smaller ones. The others were just basing the size
of the new unit on the size of the old one without any further work, it just seemed lazy to me. This seemed odd since we were going to more efficient systems it seemed like the new system should be smaller because of the difference in efficiency. Between the two contractors Rich had a much better price and was always responsive and patient with a ton of questions that I had.  Since we were most confident in Rich from Advanced and he had the better price we went with him.
We were extremely pleased after we hired him as well. The guys were very courteous, timely, clean and the system works perfectly. I was so pleased on a personal level that I am having him come to my home to do some work. I deal with real estate a lot which is why I was heading searching for a contractor and have dealt with a lot of contractors in many different fields. Rich and Advanced is the type of contractor you dream of, knowledgeable and priced extremely well.

The workmen arrived on time and explained the work they would do.  They also explained the steps they would take, the quality of the parts and proceeded to get to the job.   The toilet they installed solved the problems I had been having.   The basement pipe fixed the leak.   The work was done efficiently and professionally.

They were absolutely awful. It was really bad. I've had nothing but trouble with it. I finally brought in another contractor that figured out it was an improper installation. I would not recommend them. They were dishonest and he didn’t know what he was doing. He had over a year to try to correct it and he couldn't do it. The unit came through the gas company. He was out here often but he just couldn't fix it.

Advance Energy is thorough, professional, will tell you if something needs to be fixed, doesn't try to sell you work that isn't necessary.

They did a good job and I will call them again should the need arise.

We purchased our first home over the summer but when winter came around, the boiler did not work properly. Advanced Energy came out to look at our boiler the next day. The technician cleaned the boiler, which hadn't been done in years, and replaced the thermocouple. He did not have the correct thermocouple, so he had to go to a supply store to get the correct one, but did not charge for the time. When I told him that I didn't know much about boilers, he took the time to show me how to maintain and check the boiler. I was very happy with the service.

We just purchased a newly renovated, 100-year old condo in a 3-story multi-family. The furnace is new, but most of the plumbing and the radiators are old/original. The plumber who installed the system was unable to address problems heating certain rooms on the top floor. The builder/seller (who is paying for the work) sent Advanced Energy over. Jim D. really seemed to know his stuff. He quickly addressed the problem by fixing a disconnected wire in the circulator pump, bleeding all the radiators and adjusting the pressure regulator to raise the pressure. He took the time to answer all my questions and was able to clearly explain his reasoning, diagnosis and recommended solution. When the relief valve began tripping the next day (leaking on the basement floor), he was able to come back with in a few hours of my phone call. He replaced the faulty relief valve and that was that. Don't know the cost, but I would hire them again regardless.

THEY ARE FAST, EFFICIENT AND PRICED RIGHT. THEY ARE EXTREMELY GREAT IN AN EMERGENCY.

Our central air conditioning went on the fritz during one of the hottest days of the year. I immediately began calling Heating/AC repair companies, and after leaving a series of voicemails (several of which were never returned), I reached a real person at Advanced Energy. They had someone at my house within an hour, and made the repairs quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Their repair person, Jack, was extraordinarily punctual, knowledgeable and personable, and the folks in their customer service department were very responsive and great with the paperwork. Overall, an excellent experience.

Emergency replacement to broken boiler. Workers came by on Sat to setup (they usually only work Mon-Fri). The workers were at my house for over 12 hours the following Monday. They were able to setup new boiler behind existing asbestos covered boiler to get the heat back on as soon as possible. Moved water heater and will come back to remove old boiler once the asbestos is removed -- all included in the fair. Was able to pay $2200 up front and remainder within 14 days after.

SERVICE MAN VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EFFICIENT. CLEANED UP AFTER SELF AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS ON HOW TO AVOID PROBLEM AGAIN. USED SERVICE MAN FOR NEW OIL DELIVERY COMPANY WITH NO PROBLEM.
