Mullineaux Heating & Air Conditioning

After replacing the Capacitor and Fan Motor, and repairing the wire damage in the outside Trane A/C Compressor, my A/C was still not working.
His next plan was to replace the Thermal Expansion Valve (TEV) on the line from the condenser to the furnace.
He was going to charge $600 for this job including $280 for the new TEV.
I priced this TEV and located one for $125.00
When I confronted him about his price he tried to suggest that internet prices do not include shipping and tax, which is NOT the case. This certainly would not explain why his part price was double the price online.
I asked him for the part numbers for the Capacitor and Fan Motor that he replaced, he promised to email part numbers by the end of the 7/4 weekend.
He had not responded.
I now believe I significantly overpaid for the work he performed. I no longer trust him to provide a fair and reasonable price for parts and labor.
Buyer beware.

The people at Mullineaux Heating and Air Conditioning were professional and courteous.  They came out when I was in a jam, and treated me very nicely.  Some companies will try to take advantage if you are a woman -- not this company!  They got my job done quickly, and for a low cost.  I was also able to set up a payment plan that suited my needs!  Great experience, I would definitely contact them for all of my future needs!
