We were very please with the service both on the phone and in person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We recently purchased the house and the previous owners couldn't recall the last time the septic was pumped. The tank was very overdue. The crew did suggest some additives, which I agreed to based on what I saw in the tank. I did some research after the visit and the additives were sound suggestion. I appreciated their honesty and we'll continue to have them service our tank.

Friday afternoon we returned home from work to find water in our basement and backing up into our washing machine. Even though it was after hours (6:45pm), Alec returned our call within 15 minutes and was at our home within 20 minutes of that phone call. This was our first interaction with Dumont pumping, and we were impressed with Alec's quick response and his knowledge of our system. Alec was extremely friendly and took the time to answer all our questions in the pouring rain - we never felt rushed even though we were probably (definitely) interfering with the start of his weekend.
He explained that we had a block in our main line in addition to an almost full tank. We've only been in this house for a year, but he informed us that our system was not breaking down the solids the way it was supposed to. We purchased a bacteria treatment to add to our system, and they were able to quickly locate our main line to remove the block.
