CENTRAL NEW ENGLAND DISTR

I worked with two "kitchen designers" from this company. They had done work for my Mom and Mother In Law in the past and all was fine. I am doing a major kitchen renovation and was going to use them for cabinets. The first designer was nice, but very young and inexperienced and when she came to measure the brought her dog (without asking), and was not measuring accurately-anyone could tell. Since this is a major investment I called the company and asked to work with a more experienced designer. The second designer knew how to measure but never actually delivered any plans. He was very unorganized. We would discuss ideas, he would go away for a week for any changes-even minor ones and then we would meet again, after I followed up. After doing this several times (and wasting several weeks) I thought we were at the point of final plans so I could order. When we met, he shuffled through a stack of old plans that we had already discarded and told me he forgot the new ones, but could get his lap top to show me. I had been extremely patient to this point, but I did say "You forgot the plans?" He got very upset with me for questioning him, raised his voice and basically said that if I didn't appreciate his work we could end this right now. I thought that was a bit extreme, when I was simply stating a legitimate issue, so we left. As we left the building he continued to yell at us and was extremely rude. He was not prepared at all for our meeting and he was extremely unprofessional. I would not use this company. I am just happy that I had not put down any money yet. Later I called a friend who is a contractor for advise and he told me that they have been terrible the last couple of years and are losing most of their business.
