Anyways, late in August of 2011 I looked in the yellow pages of the local Northampton phone book, and found Applied Mortgage Service Corp, when searching for a mortgage broker. I called and spoke to Todd Barron who said he would Email me an application. I got the Email; the application was really simple to fill out. I completed it and emailed it back.
Todd called me the next day and made an appointment to see me in his office that afternoon. At the meeting we discussed my financial situation, and things that I could do to improve it to qualify and obtain a mortgage. It was a no B.S. very enlightening meeting. I did what was suggested, and started looking for a property to purchase. Fortunately my female companion and confidante found a house that I had not considered, because of its’ Plain Jane curb appeal. We looked at it and decided that this was the home we wanted.
Todd Barron, his wife Andrea, their daughter, and receptionist were really professional, courteous, and helpful through the whole experience. I always got to speak with someone, or received a timely call back, anytime that I tried to contact them. Actually, all in all it was a very pleasant experience. At the very end, at the signing, my attorney said the there was some little snag with the lending party, and that Todd was able to smooth it out, over and above what was required of him and his company. How many companies, today, go that extra yard that makes all the difference? I highly recommend Applied Mortgage Service Corp.; if I had to I would certainly use them again.
Oh! Just in case you are wondering, the lender pays the broker’s fee, the borrowers cost is zero.
