Amazing job on family heirloom! Chris finished the job in a week, stained and treated the arms and legs and reinforced cushions, all for$150-200 LESS than I was quoted elsewhere. Chris listened to my concerns, called me when he had questions. Decorators: use Perkins Custom upholstery, your clients will be blown away. I chose my own fabric, but he has several books of fabrics there. My grandmother's chair will be an heirloom for years to come! Chris is a great guy and a pleasure to do business with!

I brought in an old Craftsman style oak rocker with an upholstered seat which was unusable due to deteriorated leather and uncomfortable springs. I wanted it to be really comfortable and decided to let Chris Perkins and his crew do whatever was necessary. I expected that the spring seat would be trashed and I would receive a nicely covered foam cushion. Well, somehow it was rebuilt beyond my expectations. I had provided fabric and after seeing how well done it was, wished I had purchased higher quality cloth. The piping is meticulous. It looks wonderful. The chair is, as requested, the most comfortable chair in the world. If you have furniture worthy of reupholstering, I highly recommend Perkins.
