At 6:30 at night, we had no hot water and there was water all around the water tank in the basement. I called the answering service at :and G and told them of my problem. Tom called back within 10 minutes and talked me through shutting the water off etc. I told him it could wait until morning but he said he could be there in 45 minutes as he was at a family gathering.
He arrived and inspected the tank, told me we needed a new one, quoted me the price and said they could do in the following morning. By 10:00am the next morning the new water heater was installed at the quoted price and my basement was neat and tidy!
They are always efficient, polite and quick to respond to calls.

I used their services a couple of weeks ago as we did not have heat. They got this fixed and up and running. They were prompt. They were honest and friendly. They showed me the piece they replaced. I would use them again.

1. The estimate was very accurate.
2. The service was punctual.
3. When a typical service-related problem occurred one week after the job was done, the service provider promptly made a second visit and the problem was corrected with no additional charges.
4. I expect to hire him again!

Love, love, love Land G. Bill and Tom are great. They respond to calls, always show up when they say they are going to, and always tell it like it is in terms of repairs. A little leak under the sink turned out to be a big problem once they started digging into it. We knew that when they told us we needed a new garbage disposal, we did. We trust them and they've never let us down.
We also got a new drain, and fixed leaks all around the house.
Love them. Love, love, love them.

Tom called backed quickly to set up the appointment. Came on time and perfromed the repairs requested effeciently. I have used Land G several times in the past and they will remain my first call whenever I need plumbing done in my home.

I have a 3 family house that had the first floor heating pipes freeze during a very cold night. When I got the call from my tenant it was already about 9pm on a Saturday night. I called three plumbers from the Yellow Pages that advertised 24 hour emergency service - one said all their defrosting crews were out, the other didn't call back but Land G did, and came out about an hour later. He stayed until about 1 am although the pipes would not thaw. We left the lights on in the basement over night to add more heat. He returned about 8 am and the pipes thawed about 30 minutes later. He was very professional and patient trying to find the blocked pipe which was no easy feat in this old house with a crawl space and pipes for three units cris-crossing the ceiling. He was a nice person who I would feel comfortable calling on again and who charged me a reasonable rate considering how long he was at the house in a sub-zero basement, although I can't remember exactly what it was.

The $65 cost for an inspection and a written estimate was deducted from the overall cost of the job. The estimate was very detailed and very accurate. It was accompanied by a verbal description of the work to be done and the required supplies. The estimated times for arrival and completion were both accurate. The work area was left neat and clean. Approximately one week after the work was completed, the main fixture valve malfunctioned. One phone call provided a quick resolution with no additional costs.

Over the years, the Land G team has done quite a bit of work for us - from installing new sinks and toilets, to helping with the setup of new gas cooktops, emergencies and installation of a whole house water filter. They have always been flexible, reasonably priced, professional and on time. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Very prompt response. L and G installed the new water heater on the same day they received my call. They also repaired a leak under the kitchen sink at no charge.

Tom is extremely easy to deal with, he does exactly what he says, was honest and I trust him. I will re-hire them again for future plumbing and heating jobs. They re-used some existing copper piping where I did not expect--replacing this copper was NOT something written into the contract, so I should not fault them, except that I feel it should have been replaced. Be sure that anything you want performed is written up in the estimate. I rated them a B for pricing because I felt that the pricing, although fair, was certainly not inexpensive. I calculated it at over $100/hr per person at one point.

When he called I asked if he was familiar with RO filters he said he was I explained mine was running slowly. He ordered filters and replaced them, said he didn't know why it was running slowly charged me $400.00. He offered to order a third filter and come back, I declined.

I emailed a photograph of the faucet, the supply pipe spacing as well as a web link to a supplier with what looked like the correct type of faucet. When Bill came out to give me an estimate, had came prepared with the faucet. He did caution me that when you disturb old pipes, you can end up with leaks, but he would try to replace just the faucet, and gave me a best case/worse case estimate. Another plumber said he would have to replace a significant length of piping to the basement or leave a visible part of the old faucet on the sink. Turns out the other plumber didn't know what he was talking about since the faucet didnot separate at the point he thought it did. Bill replaced the faucet, no leaks or problems anywhere down the line. No ugly left overs from the old faucet. The other plumber when gave me an estimate would not supply or warranty the faucet even though I had a link to an American Standard part from the manufacture's website, not some random plumbing supply house.

IT went well enough, but the job was much bigger than originally planned, so we had someone else replace the entire bathroom.

They were great. The price was average. It was not cheap nor was it expensive. They came when they said they were coming. They did the job in a timely manner. They were friendly and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves. They were lovely people.They were terrific.
