I ordered two chords of fire wood, they were delivered the time/date which we agreed upon. I have been getting wood from another provider for the past few years and the quality has been going down which is why I selected a new provider. The wood that came was all seasoned hard wood and cut 14-16 inches which is great as I have a smaller wood stove. I already burned a few fire this year and the wood burn great. This is really good, clean, dry seasoned wood for a competitive price.

Since I only need 1/2 cord of wood and wanted it stacked I had some trouble finding a provider that would do that small an order for a reasonable price. While they missed the original appointment they did follow up with a call and apologised. We rescheduled and they came within the timeframe I expected, delivered a quality product and were quick and efficient. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Finding seasoned firewood, easy. Finding it at a reasonable price, a lot tougher. Finding someone to stack the firewood, impossible! That is till I browsed Angieand quot;s list. There I found the O'Brien Brothers, a local family owned business. I sent them an email requesting an estimate for 3 cords of seasoned firewood, cut, split, delivered and, dare I ask, stacked in my back yard. Within hours I received a reply from Brad asking me to call him to discuss what I needed. I explained to Brad that I was disabled and the wife recently had back surgery and that I was in dire need to get the wood stacked when it got delivered. Without hesitation he said sure, no problem. They would be happy to do it for a small additional fee. I can't tell you what a relief this was. Actually, for us, it was a miracle. I had no idea how we were going to manage this year.
Brad asked if Monday would be ok and that he would call an hour before they delivered the wood. As promised, Monday morning they delivered the first load at 11AM. While they went back for the rest of the wood, someone was here stacking the first load. They got back just before 1PM with the rest. And it was all stacked by 3PM and they even raked up all the small pieces when they were done so it looked like they were never here. Just a beautiful job! I can't thank them enough.

I had lost several pine branches this past winter, one was quite large in diameter and length. O'Brien Bros. not only removed the branches from my property for the quoted price but they also trimmed away some low-hanging branches as a favor. Both father and son worked in a professional manner and went above and beyond my expectations.
