My alternator needs to be changed and is still under warranty which I already forgot. Hometown auto change it for me with no charge. They could have not told me that and charge me for several hundred dollars for a new alternator. Mark and John are the most reliable, honest and knowledgeable mechanic. Highly recommend them. Upon inspecting all areas Mark informed me of a leak in the rear seal gave an estimate and did the work the cost came in under the estimate.

Exceptional customer service. As a non car savvy woman, I despise going to the mechanic alone. I always leave with a 2 page list of must have's and a bill for 500+ and I pay (and pay and pay), hoping they are being honest. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for them to diagnose the problem in front of me and leave with out 4 other things that must be fixed right away. When my car started running hot, I had no fears whatsoever, bringing my car back to them. And wouldn't you know it, for the second time in my life, the fix small, 'just a hose'. What a beautiful, sweet relief to finally trust *my* mechanic. We have lived in Easton for 5 years and have yet to find a mechanic we are comfortable with - finally! Their customer service is outstanding. Both issues were fixed in hours of diagnosing the problem. I seriously can't say enough good things about them.

The experience was great. They did it cheaper than the dealership. I've been to them for oil changes and other things. They're good. They're fast. They usually take same day service. They're right down the street from me so it's very convenient.

A and quot;check engineand quot; light came on in my car, and I had seen that Hometowne Auto adverised that they did free diagnostics. After looking into it, they told me that there could be an issue with the gas tank venting system. Normally, that means one of the components to the system isn't working properly, but they said the code could have been tripped if I leave my car running when I gas up (which I do regluarly). They cleared the code and told me that if it stays out, then I am all set. If it comes back, then there may indeed be a problem with the system. I was so impressed with how they handled it. They could have told me that the system needed work, but they didn't. Two weeks later, I stopped by because my brakes were making noise, and I had them replace my front brakes at a very reasonable price. They gave me a ride home and then picked me up when the job was done. Then, a week later they called me to make sure the brakes were okay. I don't know of any other service shop that has this combination of honesty, convenience and price. They just seem to care. I am very impressed.
