"Firstly, The comments posted in the review above by the member are mainly false and extremely exaggerated and in our opinion Should not be allowed to be posted Without some sort of confirmation Because they are misleading. South Coast architecture Was retained by the member to provide permit drawings and documents for a renovation to a waterfront cottage. The member had been working with a few other professionals prior to South Coast architectures involvement Including a licensed contractor and licensed land surveyor None of these Professionals Warned the member of the potential setbacks associated with renovating waterfront homes. South Coast architecture was actually the first Professional to warn the member of the potential drawbacks and restrictions associated with renovating these types of properties. Although south coast architecture was not originally retained to deal with these issues for the member we felt that it was imperative to advise her. For her to say "As a professional he should have known this" Is a blatant lie! She, in an email to South Coast architecture acknowledged That we were the only Professionals that mention these restrictions By saying, "We are in agreement that you did make mention of the property restrictions with waterfront homes". Simply put the member had a vision , she hired south coast architecture to implement that vision unfortunately her budget and the regulations (not under our control ) that Govern waterfront properties restricted this Vision from coming to reality. The member fails to mention that south coast architecture has given her a $1040.00 discount as a courtesy for any misunderstanding. Additionally, Legal action was taken to try to collect the remaining balance as indicated above And since then has been paid in full by the member. The clients expectations were extremely unrealistic and Unfortunately it took our services to determine that! We have Endless emails corresponding With the member that contradict nearly everything of what she states in her review Of our company And we think it's very unfair for her to try to hurt our business by posting a false review when we were only looking out for her best interest And pointing things that nobody was talking her about!"
